Inspired by hometown gal Barbara Corcoran who grew up here with 9 siblings. I always loved this little town with great views. What was once a working class Irish-Italian neighborhood in the shadow of Palisades Amusement park and the George Washington Bridge is now an eclectic bedroom community with a heavy Japanese influence. Forget the chauffer to take you across the bridge, call the captain.

Malibu on the Hudson? More like Jersey on the Toilet.

That water looks sooo murky, I guess that's why they have an indoor swimming pool and a stepped faux rock fountain on the side of the house. Trying to drown out the reality of where they live.

Well, it IS in Jersey. Hard pass.

My eyes!

Almost 5 mil for two bedrooms? I don't think so. The views are great but it doesnt seem like a good investment. Even by the Jersey Shore I'd take a pass, and at least you could swim in the ocean there.

What exit?

Edgewater is a nice town right across from New York so it has beautiful views. But it has that one main road to enter and leave and traffic on River Road is generally awful.

Hideous architecture. New Jersey take on modern NEVER goes well. Interior looks like a dentist's office with a wine room. So much potential, so far falling so short.

Please tell that to the constant stream of New Yorkers moving across to hudson to Jersey r3.

I actually like it and the waterfall nearby, but the snob in me keeps thinking "but it's New Jersey".

Cute

Edgewater is a really nice, very wealthy town. I don’t care for this home but I can definitely see the appeal of the location.

what a cute little enclave along the Hudson. I have seen it on the map but didn't realize it had this nice Sausalito vibe!

It would be a great place to live if you were a mobster and needed a convenient place to dump bodies.

Flooding issues?

Looks like a super-sized yacht more than a home (with, as said above, a strong element of medical offices). But Malibu smells like the ocean... doesn't the river smell? Being that close to the river seems, well, not appealing. Also, it's 4 plus mil because of its proximity to NYC... curious that in the posting there's no "breathtaking view of the NY skyline"... wonder why not?
