R7, last season, Gus wanted to beat the living shit out of the fat male cast member (I forgot why). Muscle-bound closet case Jeremiah held onto Gus to prevent him from doing so. At one point, Jeremiah, more than a bit inebriated, held Gus tightly and told him in a husky voice, "Look at me. Look at me!" Then Gus did. Gus must've recognized that look of love/lust in Jeremiah's eyes because he averted his gaze after a few seconds, but Jeremiah was insistent. They then locked eyes again and then hugged, crotch to crotch(!), for one on the most homoerotically-charged moments I've ever witnessed on reality tv. After several screen-melting seconds and a couple of semi-erect bulges, Gus eventually broke away.

Gus is crazy. Last season he had a 19 year old gf who could not come to the shore with him. He cheated on her constantly then blamed Nilsa for breaking them up. Jerimiah is nuts too. I get the feeling he is gay but his family is deeply religous so he cannot come out. I "heard" from a reliable source is the tension between Gus and Jeramiah is because of them hooking up. The story goes, Gus came to live with Jerimiah and his brother in Arizona. When Gus and Jerimiah would get drunk they would hook up. Jerimiah's brother caught them and took off in Gus's car and crashed it, totaling it. Gus went ballistic on himn and Jerimiah kicked Gus out choosing his brother over him, Gus was pissed, heart broken and homeless with no way back home.

It's already in its 4th season and I'm just hearing about this dumpster fire now?

I watched the first season. I don't remember much about it, except there was a fat guy and a fat girl. And the fat girl got upset over being called fat, or something, I don't remember.

I had no idea the show continued, I thought it was cancelled after that.

I'm pretty much over my trashy reality TV phase anyway.

I'm still on the episodes of Season 3 when Gus goes nuts over a perceived slight from an equally hot piece of Tennessee bro ass that Nilsa brought home. Gus provokes a fight, production breaks it up, and the Tennessee stud is taken outside. Insanely beautiful muscle-bound Jeremiah chooses to go outside to check on Mr. Tennessee and Gus loses it because Jeremiah chose to "comfort" a stranger instead of his friend. This causes Jeremiah to explode in indignant anger and they start chest-bumping each other as if they're going to do serious damage to each other, but again, production stops the fight. Jeremiah is taken outside and proceeds to have a complete crying meltdown. Meanwhile, Gus, while angry, chills out by the pool with the other two guys (both homely and both appearing to recognize Gus as the alpha male of the house), apparently not affected by his fight with Jeremiah nearly as much.

Gus and Jeremiah continue shouting threats at each other on and off for a while longer, all the while being held back by production. Each time they argue, Jeremiah appears to hyperventilate as he cries and cries, every muscle and vein bulging in his chiseled body. He eventually goes back inside the house and he and Gus avoid each other. Gus heads to their shared(!) room, where he cries and hyperventilates some more, and then he crawls into a bathtub, wearing nothing but a muscle shirt and very tight very short beige shorts (he has the most beautiful feet!), in sheer mental anguish. It's obvious that he's thoroughly besotted with superstraight Gus and that he's thoroughly heartbroken and nonplussed that they got into such an awful argument. The girls in the house eventually go in there to try to console him, but even they recognize that Gus is acting like a jilted gf. Gus and the other two males even ice out Jeremiah for a while, and Gus is miserable. Poor thing (this is when some gay Jeremiah stan very well could've swooped in and snatched him in a knight in shining armor moment).

During the talking heads, it's also obvious that the rest of the cast know that Jeremiah is closetedly in love with Gus. Gus thinks he's being discreet, but he's terrible at concealing his overwhelming desire for Gus, especially when he drinks. As someone else mentioned, Jeremiah comes from a deeply religious (Evangelical?) family, so he's wayyy in the closet, but he's not very good at hiding certain telltale signs. During a previous episode, Jeremiah tries to begin a summer fling with a girl he meets at a bar while out with the cast members, but it's painfully obvious after a few more episodes that he really isn't into her nor vice versa. They hardly ever make eye contact, and when they go out together, he's always with the cast members or other guys and she's always hanging out with the girls. In fact, she tries at some point to hook up with big-boobed Latina Nilsa (who previously hooked up with, and still has a thing for, everybody's object of desire, Gus). But other than that, Jeremiah shows zero interest in girls. Gus knows Jeremiah is in love with him, but he's completely (or at least mostly) straight and doesn't appear interested in returning Jeremiah's sexual overtones. If they did hook up before, Gus appears to be over it but still strings Jeremiah along, just like he's doing to Nilsa. Gus is a master manipulator. The camera guys are good at capturing those moments when drunk Jeremiah ogles Gus's body, like one time when Gus got out of the pool in a pair of super clingy red trunks. I thought Jeremiah would nut right then and there the way he visually devoured Gus. I truly believe Jeremiah would happily come out of the closet if Gus were to return his love. Jeremiah would then be the happiest boy on planet earth.

The emphasis this season has been too much on the pig & the dog, but I’m sure it was production’s idea to add them to the “cast” to create some much-needed storylines.
