Neck/Throat Tattoos are in now

Disgusting. All tattoos are. I just don't understand how this has dragged on for 5-10 years...

It's basically self-mutilation. If you liked the way you looked, you wouldn't cover up your body or mark yourself with all these STUPID drawings. SO trashy.

Tattoos are terrible. Neck and face tattoos are the worst of the worst.

Neck, throat and hand tattoos are not in. In fact, covered in ink is not in either. It's hideously ugly and a job killer. What you think looks cool when you are 22 won't work when you're 25, 30, 35, 40 unless you plan to work in some warehouse the rest of your life.

Just gross to me, a small amount of inking can sometimes be hot but the majority go way overboard and there are some areas that should never be done IMO - though it's their body, they do it for themselves not to please me so it's up to them. Just as it is then up to me to judge them and dislike it!

Neck, face and finger tattoos are the pits. But it's good because they signal one thing: to stay away from that trashy person.

Some years ago boom boxes were privately referred to as a moron's birth certificate. But then their owners would occasionally mature and get rid of them. Same now with tats, but how do you get rid of those? Marked as a moron for life.

I was watching a Korean sci-fi/horror show on Netflix called “Sweet Home” and an older character is confronted by a thug with a crude face tattoo.

Millennials are the most tattooed generation. And R4 Millennials are old now, a lot are in positions of power and are used to seeing tattoos if they’re not tatted themselves lol.

I think with millennials - youth culture became more blurred and less segregated to an extent. When I was just a teenager in the early 2000’s the only people with tattoos in my city were gang members and skateboarders. But those looks became really mainstream and fashionable and carried into suburbia by the end of the 2000’s that everyone did it.

Gen Z is more conservative. I don’t think they’ll be as tattooed.

My niece was in high school 15 years ago and had a teacher who had a neck tattoo. I couldn't believe the poor judgment of the woman or how it was allowed. Five years or so ago that same teacher's daughter turned trans boy and sued the school district to be permitted to use the boy's bathroom. Kenosha, Wisconsin.
