Wow, she was beautiful. It isn’t only trans women that date sketchy men. I have a good friend that intends on having a baby with a man that will be released from prison next year (after 14 years in prison for accessory to murder). She dated the guy in high school and he got arrested with a friend in an armed robbery gone wrong, soon after graduation. She has been hurt by every guy that she has ever been with, and really wants a baby. This is a woman with a masters degree and good job...she just has no self esteem and is naive. She has been sending him money for years. She visits me 2-3 times a year. There is no way in HELL that I’m allowing him in my house after he is released. It will probably end our friendship.

The first male friend I ever had who later started to trans took horrible risks dating guys. Had he had a good job, rich family, etc. But he still would pretend he was a street walking trying to pick up straight guys. He had several relationships, all physically abusive, one after another. And the one guy who was actually in love, treated her like gold an wanted to marry her she turned him down. She later got married to another verbally abusive fuck. Although at least it wasn't physical. One thing in common, she lied to all of them about her true gender until long after they got involved.

The victim was an adherent of Nietzsche's "live dangerously" philosophy and paid the price - at least it was an exciting end that landed in the press. Although she's not around to enjoy the attention....

It's not clear that Carrillo knew that this guy was a wife-killer. They had only been seeing each other for a few weeks.

My problem with the story is that it's only news to these people if the victim is "trans." Otherwise, fuck them. Seven deaths among a population approaching 330 million doesn't constitute an "epidemic" of trans murders. Carrillo's tragic end gives these activists grist for information war - they don't truly care about this person. Or any of the others.
