Considering she was dead aged 27 two years after Celebrity Big Brother it's a bit OTT to say she destroyed her entire career.

Jade Goody rehabilitated herself with her cancer diagnosis and death. The way the media swarmed around her as she slowly died was dreadful, but she was determined to make as much money out of it as possible for her sons. She married her awful boyfriend solely for the reality show and media fees.

One of the celebrity magazines (OK I think) published a Jade Memorial edition before she was actually dead.

The Channel 4 documentary was fascinating. "Jade: The Reality Star Who Changed Britain" is well worth a watch. So many people thought she was thick and stupid but she was very canny and outsmarted a lot of her critics.

And it was always fascinating how Jade (mixed race, English mother, Jamaican father) received most of the attention for the racist bullying when Danielle Lloyd has been untouched by it, despite often being the ringleader and one of her statements being wanting Shilpa Shetty to "fuck off home". Jo O'Meara never recovered from it.
