When you google Chasten's name it used to list him as Pete Buttigieg's husband which I thought was kind of demeaning. Now it refers to him as an American teacher.

Based on their interaction, I've always felt that Pete is a more reserved less affectionate character and lover, and much more of a workaholic type. Whereas Chasten I think craves affection and probably is more sexual. I think even if the marriage breaks down though, they'll stay together in a kind of Bill/Hillary way where they know their political and public lives are better served by keeping up appearances.
