Fat Whore, Rejoice! Burger King Just Announced a Major New Chicken Sandwich
The chicken sandwich wars will soon have a brand new player.
Burger King is done with serving a sub-par chicken sandwich. The chain just announced plans to roll out an improved version of its current chicken sandwich later this year. And judging by the looks of it, you can expect a juicier and thicker cut of chicken.

as far as I'M concerned, nothing can beat the super trashy, oblong, Original Chicken Sandwich

OK people, I have a question. I can't eat wheat. Since I was a kid, before the glutten free movement, I lived it, feeling miserable all the time. So I will never try this. I know this is breaded, but are they just big bread crumbs? Look at the picture why, is it all bumpy? A grilled chicken breast is not bumpy.

I like that sandwich and wouldn't consider it "trashy." Why? It's just an oblong bun, oblong patty, mayo, and lettuce. The only flavor is salt and black pepper.

Looks like a Popeye's rip off.
Does Burger King ever have any original ideas?

Would it kill these places to have a grilled chicken sandwich? Instead they're rolling out new "crispy" sandwiches which are 90% cheap-ass breading.

Fat Whore, Unimpressed...

I don't deep-fry stuff at home. I go to restaurants & fast food places to get things like French fries, breaded patties, etc.

They are trying to stay in the game R5. Chick Fil A has lines of cars all the freaking time and they're still closed on Sunday. Popeye's became a sensation with their sandwich and had lines of cars. McDonalds is coming out with a new chicken sandwich this week and BK doesn't want to be left behind. When is KFC coming out with something?

I believe Burger owns Popeye's. That's why Popeye's food has gone downhill, along with Tim Horton's; also owned by BK.

We have a local Pakistani chicken joint that does spicy chicken sandwiches that have that same texture, people come from miles around for them. I bet the BK ones are shite though.

This is the Datalounge. If you are addressing only one fat whore, you are gonna have to be more specific.

R6: BK used to have grilled chicken sandwich, not anymore. McDonald's might still have grilled chicken. I know it's fast food but I'd rather make it myself.

Oh, dear.
But definitely not GLUTTON-free.

r11 Not exactly. Restaurant Brands International owns all three (BK, Popeye's and TH), but they're separate entities.

My top two are Popeyes and Chick-fil-A. I doubt Burger King will top them.

McDonald's, preparing a national launch of the product next week, will let customers buy a limited-edition capsule that includes a hoodie and an audio track from producer Tay Keith.

r21 You should be ashamed to admit you eat at Chick-Fil-A.

Chick-Fil-A hates us gays. They don't think we should exist and are an abomination. How a gay could eat there is beyond me.

That's nothing. Wendy's in Canada has a Korean BBQ Cheeseburger now.

Am I the only one who doesn't like these thick slabs of chicken? I do like chicken strips but these big thick chunks of chicken just are not good to me, I wish they were thinner. Yet, I'm a fat whore too.

I can’t believe people are this excited over food

Being a FAT WHORE, I have tried them all, except for BK, because even a fat whore has her limits.
Jack in the Box. Good size filet and nice bun. A pleasant surprise at the quality and thickness of the tomato slices. However, there was barely any heat to the spice and there were NO pickles. A fat whore needs some dill crunch on her spicy fried chicken.
Homophobe Chic-Fil-A and Wendy's are the best so far. I wasn't that impressed with Popeye's or the McDonald's version. Still, no one in fast food beats them crack-laced Mickey D fries.

Chic-Fil-A is (imho) the best. It is juicy. Micky D's has a new chicken sandwich and it was very slim and dry and over breaded. Not impressed.

Here’s a differentiator I’m on board with. Will go try the bk sandwich now...

R2 is right. That horrible chicken sandwich is a cornerstone of early 2000’s frauage that we all ate. And the many times they were burnt when you got them. I can’t eat the Whoppers anymore, I burp that disgusting fake flame flavour for three days.

I had one of these Chicken Sandwiches. Basically a second-hand Popeyes chicken sandwich with less flavor. I’ll just keep getting the spicy one at Popeyes. It is the redundant chicken sandwich
