I can be on my yahoo email on my lap top and also on my yahoo email app on my ipad at the same time. I can also have my yahoo email open in different windows on my laptop at the same time.

it's easier to use two different browsers, I use Firefox and Brave (Chrome) or use a 3rd party email app (Outlook or Thunderbird) an set up individual accounts within them.

R2 has no clue what it’s talking about. Of course you can simultaneously log into the same account from multiple devices.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | February 15, 2021 1:33 AM |
Yesterday, I emailed myself and opened it on my computer. Phone and computer were both signed in to gmail.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | February 15, 2021 1:39 AM |

Mom?
by Anonymous | reply 10 | February 15, 2021 1:44 AM |
What do you mean you're trying to set up a new device?
by Anonymous | reply 11 | February 15, 2021 1:47 AM |
What do you mean you cannot do it? What message do you have? I'm logged into gmail on three or four devices at any given time-- including my Google Pixl phone. Google sells phones that run basically from your gmail account. The whole system is designed to be used on multiple devices. Tell us more about your problem, so we can send the google drone to your house.

new laptop and want to log into gmail and youtube. I cannot. I'm logged in with the other device, fine.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | February 15, 2021 1:50 AM |
new laptop: gmail message says they cannot verify that it is my account.
I am logged into gmail on my other laptop.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | February 15, 2021 1:51 AM |
Are you in a weird country with a sketchy IP address? Do you have verification questions set up on your account? Go to your other laptop and check. It also sounds like it could be a temporary glitch. If you verify your security questions and still can't log in, wait a while and try again later.

If you scatter chicken entrails across your keyboard, you should be able to divine a solution.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | February 15, 2021 1:55 AM |
Okay, so what do they ask you to do to verify your account?
by Anonymous | reply 17 | February 15, 2021 1:57 AM |
They ask me to upload a dick pic to gmailhelper.pk and I did but it still doesn't work.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | February 15, 2021 1:59 AM |
The face has to be in the dick pic or it won’t work.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | February 15, 2021 2:02 AM |
Sorry I just realised that nobody knows what POP3 or IMAP is any longer. I'm officially old.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | February 15, 2021 2:09 AM |
is there someone from google here? Or someone that can help me?
by Anonymous | reply 21 | February 15, 2021 2:11 AM |
I was TRYING to help you but you won't even tell us what's wrong, so I'm out.
Go to the Google forums if you want someone from Google, you dingus.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | February 15, 2021 2:18 AM |
when i try to log in on new device (LT) the gmail message states: They cannot verify that it is me. I am also logged into another computer at the same time.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | February 15, 2021 2:21 AM |
R23, it is unlikely the two are related. The problem is getting Google to associate the new device with your Gmail account. The system should be giving you prompts to verify your account on your new device. I don't know if Google does this, but some services will send you an email asking you if you are trying to sign into your account with a new device, and then give you a link to follow to verify that it is you.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | February 15, 2021 2:27 AM |
it is a fucking nightmare. i am not sure way this is happening.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | February 15, 2021 2:30 AM |
R24 is correct. You should have an email on the “working” computer that says an unknown device tried to log in and “if it was you...” and then it has some information about what to do. Maybe the email ended up in a different folder.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | February 15, 2021 2:37 AM |
Hi I'm from Google. I heard you needed some help. Please post the dick pic, with your face in it so I can verify your account.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | February 15, 2021 2:40 AM |
i'll check the other folders. and security messages on my other computer. Good idea. This will be after i talk myself down from a ledge. I need a computer set up break.
Thanks, I keep you all posted.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | February 15, 2021 2:40 AM |
OP, did you never set up two-step verification?
by Anonymous | reply 29 | February 15, 2021 4:02 AM |
Or a recovery email?
by Anonymous | reply 30 | February 15, 2021 4:03 AM |
[quote] can you log into two different computers at the same time?
Who are you trying to hack op?
by Anonymous | reply 31 | February 15, 2021 4:05 AM |
i need a google guy. and a drink.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | February 15, 2021 4:06 AM |
[quote]I am also logged into another computer at the same time.
So you're not locked out from one computer? You're actually in your acct?
by Anonymous | reply 33 | February 15, 2021 4:07 AM |
yes, i am log into one device (old computer).
gmail will not let me sign in on my new computer.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | February 15, 2021 4:09 AM |
What I think you should do is set up two-step verification (on your old computer) if you haven't already, then try to go into the new computer using that verification.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | February 15, 2021 4:22 AM |
i am down a cell phone. Can you use a telephone land line for that? I am really screwed.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | February 15, 2021 5:27 AM |
I don't know, R36. I mean they can send you a voice code as opposed to text, so give it a try.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | February 15, 2021 5:33 AM |
OP, no, you will have to call the Goggle tech center, they will usually send a tech person to your home within 48 hours.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | February 15, 2021 5:49 AM |
[r38] lol.
And if you call G11, they come send a drone to your home with special instruction. G11

by Anonymous | reply 40 | February 15, 2021 10:58 AM |
OP, do not log into gmail on two devices at once, no matter what. It's a felony and the Internet Police will be breaking down for door within minutes. If it's too late you should probably start running. NOW. What are you waiting for, they're coming for you?!?!
by Anonymous | reply 41 | February 15, 2021 11:27 AM |
Does anyone have any fucking clue what OP's problem is?
by Anonymous | reply 42 | February 15, 2021 11:32 AM |
I'm guessing OP has logged into gmail on his laptop, and now he's trying to do so on his phone. But he forgot the password, and he's getting close to being locked out of gmail entirely as he doesn't have the password written down and he's approaching the limit of password attempts.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | February 15, 2021 11:36 AM |
But can't he reset his password by clicking "forgot password" and they send you a link to reset your password? If he's still logged in on one devise that shouldn't be a problem? Or is that the two factor verification thingy that dingus never set up?
by Anonymous | reply 44 | February 15, 2021 11:44 AM |
I did it. Must be some malfunction that happened this week-end. I do not like that I have to wait on billion tech companies to conduct personal and business activities. It is not right.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | February 15, 2021 9:37 PM |
Hello, this is Detective Mike Hunt. I understand that someone here has tried to access gmail from two separate devices. As r41 said, this is a serious felony. We will go easier on you if you turn yourself in when the internet police arrive at your home. They are on their way.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | February 15, 2021 9:41 PM |
Did you try turning it off and turning it back on again.
