Great interview. Ball's kids seemed so much more confident after she died. I think she had a castrating personality.

this is wild

It really is something......Lucie must have really hated that bitch.

This is why I don't begrudge Lucie and Desi Jr. wanting to do whatever they want with their parents' images, albeit usually something bland that will make the easiest money. God knows they earned it.

Apropos of the "parents' death" thread---this is what often happens. The realization of all those things you felt about your parents, including ones who've been dead for ages when another parent dies.

She speaks with such clarity, it’s really refreshing.

I like her. She's smart and sensitive and wounded a bit. Sometimes having kids of their own really does help some people heal old hurts. Corny as that sounds. Nobody does it like Lucie.

Thanks, OP. Great interview. I miss Joan's daytime TV show. She had some really good interviews. And I liked how she just let Lucie talk.

I love Lucie Arnaz. She's engaging, interesting, funny, insightful and all-in-all, a good ol' broad. I wish we saw more of her. She's extraordinarily talented.

R7. I love that video of Lucie and Michele Lee. I have watched it dozens of times, and it never gets old. Two show business pros at work who know how to entertain.
