Apropos of the "parents' death" thread---this is what often happens. The realization of all those things you felt about your parents, including ones who've been dead for ages when another parent dies.

I like her. She's smart and sensitive and wounded a bit. Sometimes having kids of their own really does help some people heal old hurts. Corny as that sounds. Nobody does it like Lucie.
