[quote]Experts have just discovered that Frederika, Jonathan’s mate for the last 26 years, is actually a male (a Frederick, if you will).
The oldest confirmed living creature in the world is an 189-year-old tortoise named Jonathan... and he's GAY!

I thought it was Mitch McConnel

Jonathan and Frederick intend to spend their Valentine's Day the way they always do: a simple supper, followed by great sex.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | February 14, 2021 8:19 PM |
They should’ve known from the fact that he prefers “Jonathan.”
by Anonymous | reply 4 | February 14, 2021 8:27 PM |
He's a DL which means that he's 189 but looks 169!
by Anonymous | reply 5 | February 14, 2021 8:28 PM |
Frederick gives all of us aging bottoms hope.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | February 14, 2021 8:29 PM |
DL = DLer
by Anonymous | reply 7 | February 14, 2021 8:30 PM |
Eldergays, what was Jonathan like as a babygay? Did he slut around a lot?

“Experts have just discovered that Frederika, Jonathan’s mate for the last 26 years, is actually a male (a Frederick, if you will).”
Jonathan really opens up my turtleneck.

Frederick is trans!
by Anonymous | reply 11 | February 14, 2021 8:46 PM |
Thats awesome 👌 👏 😎
by Anonymous | reply 12 | February 14, 2021 8:46 PM |
It took him 163 years to come out of his shell.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | February 14, 2021 9:02 PM |
Have you factually verified your headline, OP?
I would’ve thought the oldest confirmed living creature in the world is a DLer.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | February 14, 2021 9:34 PM |
R15 who said Jonathan the tortoise ISN'T a DLer?
by Anonymous | reply 16 | February 14, 2021 11:16 PM |
Mzee is only 130, but he did it interspecies.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | February 14, 2021 11:22 PM |
Why, he's just a baby. A very ugly baby.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | February 14, 2021 11:23 PM |
Your hump is bigger, R18.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | February 14, 2021 11:29 PM |
Touché, r16!

Jonathon looks like he’s smelling fossilized cookies, and they aren’t as good as mother's from 1910.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | February 14, 2021 11:33 PM |
His Grindr profile pic is a tad misleading.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | February 14, 2021 11:46 PM |
I nominate Jonathan for DL mascot
by Anonymous | reply 23 | February 20, 2021 3:39 AM |
Beautiful. Wonderful.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | February 20, 2021 3:46 AM |
I know if he weren't interested, he wouldn't have anything to do with the Frederick anyway, but are there other tortoises there? Did he choose him out of a crowd, or did he settle on the only other one available?
by Anonymous | reply 25 | February 20, 2021 4:09 AM |
R25 he lives with 4 other tortoises including Frederick
by Anonymous | reply 26 | February 20, 2021 4:23 AM |
Polygamist!

How expert could any of those "experts" be if it took them 26 years to notice Frederika's sex? I'm no expert but I know that the female's underbelly is flat, whereas the male's is concave so that he can mount her. Not exactly rocket science, you "experts"!
by Anonymous | reply 30 | February 20, 2021 4:57 AM |
Let’s smash him!

Fred is trans and insisted that the experts use the appropriate pronouns.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | February 20, 2021 5:01 AM |
R30 Frederick had a shell deformity that made his sex difficult to determine
by Anonymous | reply 33 | February 20, 2021 5:10 AM |
Thanks, R33 -- that's mentioned in one of the Wikipedia cites but I hadn't read it. I guess the only other way to tell whether a tortoise is male or female is to watch it with another tortoise during mating season (is there one?), which could take a long time for a sufficiently serious relationship to develop.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | February 20, 2021 5:24 AM |
R13 - best one yet!
by Anonymous | reply 35 | February 20, 2021 5:34 AM |
Do Jonathan and Frederick have the sex where the man go up into the other man?
by Anonymous | reply 36 | February 20, 2021 2:41 PM |
R36 more like the turtle go up into the turdhole
