I just again watched the great Hitchcock film "Strangers On A Train" first released on June 30, 1951. For you younger folk who may have never seen, take time to check it out. The entire cast is amazing including Robert Walker, Farley Granger, and Laura Elliot. Laura is my favorite as the slutty and promiscuous wife of Granger with the Coke bottle eyeglasses. Hard to figure her cheating on a handsome hunk like Farley. He was actually gay in real life. Hitch had a flair for the erotic. In one scene while she is on a date with two guys, she seductively licks an ice cream cone while watching the stranger Walker who she thinks is eyeballing her. Who says four eyes ain't sexy!
Fun fact: Laura Elliott changed her name to Kasey Rogers, and took over the role of Louise Tate on Bewitched during the second season.

Laura Elliot is great in the part. Her little evil eyes inside the thick glasses was a brilliant stroke by Hitchcock. She looks just like my uncle's promiscuous first wife he was married to in the late 1950's . She even had the exact same style of eye glasses. They were in their early 20's and he was in the Navy. When he was out to sea his wife would "take care of the fleet" according to his Mom, my grandma. My aunt, his sister, told me she dropped by to see her sister-in-law one day and found her and three sailors naked inside the house involved in an orgy. It turned out to be a short term marriage for my uncle.
