Ah, don't even get me started...
She's a little buffy, but no saint...if you catch my drift.

My father had one of her 1960s LPs, the one with "Universal Soldier." She was known as "the Cree with the kink in her voice," due to an odd but not unpleasant sort of vibrato in her singing. I know she did a long stint on Sesame Street. She's half Cree and half Mi'kmaq, which is a Nova Scotian First Nations community.

Buffy was ok in small doses, but she could be really over the top.

many, include joni mitchell herself, credits her with moving mitchell into the mainstream.. though her stans absolutely hate her more upbeat version of the circle game. and buffy herself is a gifted songwriter but like many, her works are better performed by others. and yes, she has a history of being a raging out of control diva. . . that burned a lot of her own bridges and hide behind claims of isms, which certainly existed at the time but didn't excuse her behavior.

ONG I literally OWN a Buffy record!
This came out in 91 or 92. It got a lot of radio play and made the top 40 in the UK.
