Since it was recently discussed, this is why she claims she deleted her messages. But she didn't delete all of them, did she? I've seen some screenshots which still have her messages, so seems a contradiciton.

Also, the idea you're going to "erase him" by only deleting your messages instead of just deleting the entire conversation is beyond stupid.
