Does it ever end well for porn stars?

People who are responsible human beings tend not to become porn stars.

4 year old news, grandpa! Hey, did you hear. Lots of gay porn stars DIED OF AIDS! It's true. Little known story.

I think ending mediocre is the most common fate for porn stars. We only hear about the bad stuff.

It's rarely a career path for people who are well educated or who are from backgrounds that will help them later in life.

Many of them die young: AIDS, other health problems they don't take care of, steroid abuse that leads to early heart problems, drug overdoses, suicide, even murder victims if they get involved with crime. And because they tend to be reckless, some of them die in car accidents or motorcycle accidents.

That's of course not true for all of them, and some of them (like Gianfranco) turn their lives around and do very well later in life.

They're porn stars, OP. No one ever goes into porn because life is comfortable and porn is fun. (Maybe OnlyFans, but not porn.)

They're either trying to make money and survive, or they are fueling a drug habit. These are not generally groups known to be paragons of long term stability.

I'm not being mean, I wish everybody success, but the fact that many seem to often fall from pedestals is one of the least surprising things ever.

I don't know the endings of any porn stars so I cannot attempt to answer your question but I tend to believe they would not have had good endings no matter their choice of profession. I think they must have already been damaged before they chose to work in porn.

Sure some turn out fine. Those ones usually try to distance themselves from that part of their life as much as possible after retiring from the industry.

You'll find all kids of different kinds of people in porn, just as you will in any other industry. Some are decent enough people (although some are often 'damaged' in some way) to ones are downright sociopathic or worse.

Contrary to many expectations here, it appears that 'Tanner' from SC has successfully managed to divorce himself from his gay porn/escorting past while starting a chapter anew in the stratosphere.
