If it's to be believed r8. There is an tight ironclad deal that ABC inherited when it bought the channel that would become Freeform. Stating that The 700 Club must be kept on air "in perpetuity". Basically meaning that ABC or Freeform technically can never cancel it and that ABC or Freeform also can't just move the show to the middle of the night either.
There was a rumor that ABC allegedly once tried to pay Pat Robertson a ton of money to try to get him to agree to take the 700 Club off their network and he refused.
