JC Chasez was always a great singer

At the height of his popularity JC Chasez would only wear a pair of underwear once.

Justin has a thin voice and limitations but he knows how to sing on key and has good harmonies. He's still a way better singer than Bieber, Mendes and Styles.

JC is the best singer in NSYNC and his solo album deserved better.

JC is basically to Justin as Christina is to Britney. As in better singer but lacking charisma. JC could have been successful like Christina though had he had her ambition and stubborn streak.

He was in his elements. He was ready to show off his runs and ad-libs skills.

JC wasn’t meant to be a solo star. He’s someone who relies on talent to stand out, as opposed to someone like JT who naturally stands out.

I don’t like Justin at all and feel he’s a phony, but he has that IT factor that can’t be created. JC doesn’t.

JC would have fit an older era of music where you had to sing to get a record deal. He could have been a crooner or pop balladeer.

I kind of feel bad for the more talented Mouseketeers who were better singers but went nowhere. Britney as much as we love her was not that good a singer and her success came from being cute, charming and marketable and Max Martin.

Many others did find success on TV or producing like Keri Russell, Matt Morris and Nikki DeLoach.

Jordan Knight is another example. He had little ambition for a solo career and as a result got eclipsed by the no-talent Wahlberg brothers

R7 they themselves have even admitted to understanding that there is more to being a star than talent, and Britney is all those things.

Well even back then you see the type of artists each one was. Christina was more of a vocal showcase when given solos while Britney was made to put on more of a show while performing.

Christina sorta moves around while lip syncing, while Britney literally dances her ass off, at 12. She’s always been a gifted dancer.

Keri Russel is so pretty in person. And so lovely. Very nice.

But very pretty and tiny. I was shocked by how petite she was.

My God, Ryan Gosling was a horrible dancer!!

JC, Christina, Timberlake and Gosling were and are all more talented than Britney but Britney is a pop culture icon like Marilyn Monroe and James Dean level. Like others said she had star quality which trumps talent.

Gosling would have stayed a minor Hollywood/Canadian actor like Kevin Zegers had The Notebook not give him major clout.

Christina would have happened with or without Britney. She had vocal chops and ambition.

JC actually could have happened without NSYNC and he could have filled a Robin Thicke/Jon B niche.

Love him or hate Timberlake is the most talented male pop star of the moment. Sings, dances, plays instruments, can do comedy, writes songs and produces.

Someone from MMC, think it was Tony Lucca, once said in an interview that whenever JC sang everyone in hearing distance would just stop whatever they were doing dead and listen with total rapture. He has a beautiful voice, possibly the only truly beautiful one among all the 90s-00s boybanders.

R14 no. JC and Christina wouldn’t have happened. Christina couldn’t get a recording contract despite her talent. She only got it after Britney got hers and the label heard a demo of BOMT and knew that was gonna be a hit. That’s when they said they need someone who could rival her.

That’s when she happened.

R14 I hate when people say that. More talented at what? Be specific, because they may all be more talented at singing than her (Gosling isnt) but that doesn’t mean they are more talented actors than her, or dancers than her etc.

MMC lowered the age by a year for someone to be let on the show just to have Britney on, they were so taken aback by her skills

Christina sang Reflection for Mulan which came out in 1998.

She would have happened. For all we know she could have gotten J Lo's career since Motolla was determined to derail Mariah and Christina's singing was more in tune with Mariah.

Britney's talent was listening to her handlers and being a nice sweet and quiet girl. Something Christina wasn't

Timberlake is a better singer and better dancer than Britney. Christina is also a good dancer. Ryan is also a better actor than all of them. Britney was just a product of good marketing and having a cute look and charm. Her dancing was good but not amazing. Mya, Aaliyah and Beyoncé were all destroying her at dancing during her prime.

R18 and it flopped

Reflection did nothing for Aguilera. It didn’t make her a household name. She became famous with Genie.

JC has a wonderful voice. He can do it all.
