R7 They definitely should have sent the questions. It looks like she she was afraid of giving less than brilliant answers, so just responded churlishly.

Of course, the downside of sending the questions is that the answers are then so calculated - for example, the Guardian's "Books that made me" series: most of the authors somehow get out of answering the question about the book they are ashamed not to have read.
