It would seem not, R6. According to the linked article at OP, the spokespeople for SOPHIE requested that no pronouns be used in the news articles, and that SOPHIE only be referred to as SOPHIE.
Also, the forehead, neck, and shoulders. No pronouns needed; the maleness of SOPHIE is obvious to one and all.

I was obsessed with this unreleased Sophie song featuring Kim Petras. Probably one of her most commercial ones (probably reason why she didnt release it) but it gets me so pumped.

Yes, she was trans. She also co-produced “Bitch, I’m Madonna” and was no doubt responsible for the more sonically interesting parts of the song.
