Good websites for cheap photo retouching?
Does anyone know some good websites where you can get good photo retouching for a cheap price? I have several photos that I would like to get retouched - nothing over the top, just things like skin smoothing, removing blemishes, etc. However, there are like a million sites when doing a Google search and the few I have found either want like $5 per photo or they’ll only accept photos of you are a professional photographer, which I’m not.
Can anyone recommend some sites that will do retouching for like around $3 per picture?

They’re old family photos. And some of them have imperfections on the photographs (small scratches, etc).

You want old photos fixed? Oh honey its going to cost you. 3 dollars a pic? Aren't you cute. Why don't you learn to do it yourself. Or ask a local college - there might be a student interested in pick up money.

OP do you realize that all of those photos will have to be scanned first? Just scanning them, downloading, saving, sending... let alone the retouching itself, it is a lot of work.

There is a free program called Gimp. It's a bit complicated but for things like erasing, color matching, it's fairly simple. I've used it to remove stains, clean up tears or folds and sharpen images. There are a ton of specific tutorials on Youtube for it. Get a good scanner if you don't have one already.

Just don't use what Brenda Dickson uses. Although, that might be Microsoft Paint.

R9 I tried that years ago and it was confusing. I actually have Photoshop but when I tried learning it years ago I got confused as hell with that program as well with all the “layers” shit.

R12 OP, I can't do that either, but it's easy to color match areas that need retouching and erasing blemishes. I'm an idiot when it comes to things like this. The airbrush tool is very useful as well as the "dropper" for color matching an area. Here's a Youtube sampling of tutorials. I think Gimp and Photoshop operate very much the same way. I had a nice photo of my mom I wanted to send to my siblings, it had a wire running through the background and some debris on the beach, and I was able with those simple tools to take those out.

I tried to use Gimp as well and it's terribly confusing and user unfriendly. Worked with several CAD programs before as an architect and usually self taught.

Brenda Dickson will do it for a roll of toilet paper.

I relied on Photoshop for decade because it was THE program for retouching.
But for some unknown reason the latest Apple update is incompatible with it. I don't know what to do and Apple won't help me.

Cheap depending on how much work is involved.

I used to restore photos and artwork at work. If anyone forced me to use that software, I would take them out at the neck with a newly constructed canvas frame.

R18??? Photoshop is in Adobe Creative Suite and works fine. Maybe you need new Adobe product and license.
