Gayle is insufferable. If I wanted her opinion, I'd ask for it. And she fancies herself an expert on all things black. If you saw her on "Finding Your Roots," you know she's got 1/3 white European ancestry! And she was quite shocked, ashamed, and embarrassed by it, which she didn't even bother to try to hide.

That said, I'm not fond of Norah as an anchor. I liked Glor and I'm sorry he's been demoted.

I love Jeff Glor. Very sexy and seems like a nice, down-to-earth guy.

The "best" evening news anchor is the one that mouths the "truth" and "facts" that I want to hear.

I watch the PBS news hour. It seems more my point of view.

The other networks are all commercials and soundbites. And they spend the last 10 min. doing some saccharine, feel-good human interest story ("Her dream was to fly, even though she was blind...").

At least Nora & Lester are the faces of their network.

David Muir is great...But the beginning of the news spending TWO minutes to tell us what we are going to see for the next 28 minutes is a little much. They have really started to pad that show too much. Also I have no respect for David Muir still hosting 2020---which is a tired old retread of crime stories.

Norah O’Donnell gets new deal to stay at ‘CBS Evening News’: reports

News anchor Norah O’Donnell and CBS have reached an agreement that will allow her to stay behind the news desk beyond the 2024 presidential election, according to sources.

The longtime anchor allegedly shared the news Friday evening during a toast with producers at the CBS News facility in Washington, D.C., according to Variety.

CBS and O’Donnell’s spokeswoman declined Variety’s and Deadline’s request for comment.

O’Donnell’s reported bad attitude and low ratings led to reports that CBS co-president Neeraj Khemlani was interested in shaking up the station’s roster. With her contract ending in the spring, CBS News allegedly reached out to the competition to see if they wanted to join the network’s daytime programming.

Her diva-like behavior has also been bad for newsroom morale.

“There was an incident last year in the studio where she ranted about how her bronzer was wrong,” one insider told The Post last month, noting that her hair and makeup staff take the brunt of her tantrums and have been known to end up in tears.

Norah O'Donnell is not a Republican and dislikes Trump. She brings up Republican talking points to discredit them. Good reporting is asking the tough questions not avoiding them.

I disliked her at first after she replaced Jeff Glor as she seemed very cold and never smiled. She's gotten a lot more likable over the past couple years.

Katie Couric was replaced by Scott Pelley who was replaced by Jeff Glor who was replaced by Norah O'Donnell.
