What's the most superficial thing you've ever secretly done to make yourself more sexually attractive?
I used to use retin-a on my junk in the hopes that it would keep everything down there looking young and pert. I've bleached my asshole at home with 6% hydroquinone (worked a treat, FWIW). I also went through this particularly insecure period where I'd go and get a spray tan before any first date where I thought there was a chance I'd be getting naked.

Naired my lower back before a date. But it was too long before the date (Nair is like shaving; your skin is smooth maybe for 12-24 hours at most). While making out, date felt the stubble and had a noticeable reaction. Fail!

Tit (pectoral) implants. They look great and men really love them, but I lost sensation in my nipples. I want them removed.

Would your nip sensation come back if you got 'em taken out?

Body contouring procedures: Emsculpt for my abs to increase musculature and reduce fat and Coolsculpt under my chin. Can’t say I really saw much difference as a result, but they emptied a few thousand from my bank account.

I did the 'Just for Men' thing on my facial hair for a few months when it started to get more than more gray than not. The graying hair never bothered me, but the facial hair did a bit. I took much care to do it subtly but I dislikes the vanity of maintaining my small illusion more than I disliked the gray itself and threw it it.
After abandoning the brief experiment I got much more sex, a nice consolation.

My mom has huge bags under and her eyes and droopy eyelids. It’s like she’s always squinting and my friends used to call her Janice. I worry that the same will happen to me. After reading the Jared Leto thread, I wonder if I should get a preventative eye lift..... but it kills me to even think like that.

R8 same situation here, I had upper and lower blepharoplasty done at age 35.
Now, at 51, I have no bags (and no surprised look). But my brow is starting to get droopy/heavy, and I've already had a coronal brow lift.

Retin-A on your junk??!! Didn't that shit burn and peel it?

You can barely see my eyes. Drooping upper, baggy lower. I haven't seen a decent picture of myself in years. But my Mom had a brow lift and eyelid surgery and she went through a period of looking quite startled and then slowly everything returned to normal and then worse, saggy. So I guess the most superficial thing I did was spend a lot of cash on teeth, caps crowns, implants . . . but I had to.

R8 you can get a temporary brow lift with Botox. I would try that first and see if it helps.
I had laser hair removal on my upper back. I like my hairy chest but the back hair always bothered me. Only took 3 sessions.

Chemical peel on my face and neck five years ago, officially for pre-cancerous skin lesions.
It's gruesome looking while it's working and yup, I went to work and scared the shit out of people. Nobody needed me for anything for about two weeks.
I'm 69 now and my face is as smooth as a baby's ass.

The most superficial? Getting clothes impeccably tailored and relying on expert advice for color, line and fit. Scrupulous grooming, including all hair and also clean teeth. Paying attention to my posture. Not getting fat. Fortunately I am tall and good looking so I don't mind so much aging and after 45 or so, proper clothes and presence are noticed by the world if not by superficial gay men, themselves. They keep a man attractive. Very few men over 50 want to fuck their peers, sadly. But at least colleagues, clients, and the public react positively to a well-turned out mature man.

R3 probably not, I just don’t like them anymore. It’s one of those things I got because they looked really sexy and filled out my chest, but now that I am a bit older I don’t work out like I used to. It looks plastic to me. I’m leaner than I used to be and I would just like to get them out.

Dye all gray hair (Clairol brown/black match my hair perfectly and knocks off 10 years). I will let myself go gray at 60.
Nose job years ago in 1998 (it was too big). It looks better, but sinus problems ever since... I would not do it again.

Lasik eye correction at 46, no more contacts or eyeglasses. Upper and lower eyelid bleth at 50. Liposuction under the chin to gave me my jawline back, also a mini tummy tuck at the same time. I thinking about a full tummy tuck as I lost about 30 lbs.

Ordered one of these to make my junk more prominent in khakis/dress slacks. I've got a pretty big cock, but it's definitely a grower rather than a shower. Got some action in unexpected places when I started wearing it. I miss commuting :(

I don't consider Lasik surgery vain; it's more convenient to not wear glasses.
Any money spent on teeth is also money well-spent, esp. if it's your natural teeth.

There is nothing wrong with getting any sort of surgery as long as you are well educated, the surgery has been around for a while (so you can see the results on others)....But also know that it wont make much of a difference in terms fo your attractiveness to others. And that's what OP starts with in the headline.
It does sometimes improve confidence but that's shortlived. If you have a self esteem problem it will come back quickly. ( I can't imagine being more or less attracted to a person because of their ab definition.)

I did stuff socks in the back of my jeans once to try and seduce a man I used to pass everyday on the way to work. It was rediculous considering eventually the truth would be discovered. I caught his glance, but he turned out to be straight.

Oh! I forgot to mention—I once bought those fake, stick-on nips a la SATC to supplement my own rather soft/flat pair under tight shirts. One night I got drunk with a super hot guy and forgot to take 'em out before he took my shirt off. That memory will forever live in infamy along with the time I accidentally farted during a rimjob.

R10 Nah, it didn't peel or hurt. Didn't do much of anything really, but it was low strength (0.025%). I think you need to use at least 0.1% on your body to see a difference.

When I was in my early 30s, my boyfriend (same age) was an MD/surgeon, and he refused to remove (on the grounds that it was unnecessary) a little fatty cyst in my abdomen, which made me insane because when I was lying by the pool, it would become visible just above my speedo. I had pretty much done medical school and his residency with him, so I had seen it all, so when he was at work one day, I got his bag, injected a little Lidocaine, made an incision with a disposable scalpel, popped the cyst out (about the size of a pea) , and closed it with two stitches (its all in the wrist). He was initially incredulous, but eventually found the humor in it. It turned out fine, and I was happy to be flawless (in my mind).

$250 for cut and color blending. The key to natural men's coloring is go to a very expensive salon with experts and never let yourself go gray. Start blending before grays even appear. I think the gym, skin care, and keeping the grays away are simple, non invasive things that will keep you fuckable..

R47 Ok, MIND BLOWN. How does this do anything but stretch the skin and maybe temporarily inflame by bringing blood to the surface? Have your results lasted and how long ago did you end the experiment?

R46 See now, what you really should have done to get back at him for not helping you was to douse a t-shirt in fake blood and stumble out of the bathroom, scalpel in hand, sobbing that you'd now be disfigured forever from the back-alley lumpectomy he forced you into. That's how you deal with incredulous boyfriends.

Women are allowed a certain amount of artifice (unnatural shades of hair, obvious face makeup). Men are supposed to undetectable in anything they do to enhance their looks.
