Keira Knightley Announces "No More Sex Scenes - Unless Directed By Womyn"
Keira Knightley has announced she now has a clause in her contract, stating no more sex scenes, unless they are directed by a WOMYN
And if the male director has to bring in a WOMYN to direct the scene, so be it
It is about time women in leadership roles, use their muscle

I get it. Straight men are fucking creeps. Good for her.

It makes complete sense. Usually the woman has to be topless. Shooting one of these scenes, there's a man on top of her, a man yelling orders, not to mention all the men holding cameras. It would be easy for the director to come up with new ideas to try, and the woman would feel pressured to go along with it. Having a woman director calling the shots seems a lot more comfortable...and safer.

The film industry would be a lot more humane, varied and interesting as a whole if straight men were not directing at all.

Another hateful, bigoted woman.

I've actually seen female crew members told to leave the set because we were filming a love scene. When there is male nudity suddenly everyone cares there is a woman on set, not so when there is female nudity.

[QUOTE]She added, “I don’t want it to be those horrible sex scenes where you’re all greased up and everybody is grunting. I’m not interested in doing that.”
You mean reality? What kind of sex is she having that doesn’t involve sweat and grunting?

Shut up, you idiotic, overpaid, wooden, hacktress bimbo.
You get paid millions of dollars to play pretend. Stop complaining and imagining that you set the rules. If you don't like the sex scenes or the nudity demands of the role, don't take it. There are plenty of other actresses who aren't so obnoxious.
Is she 40 now? She's almost over and she was always starving herself and trying to lose/hide her heavy short legs anyway.

I don't have an opinion about this one way or the other, but I can't help but laugh at the irony of older actresses making bold proclamations about nudity when the fact of the matter is that no *wants* to see them nude anymore; now they want to Margo Robbie or whoever else is the flavor of the month.

Let's hope all female actors will follow her example so that sex scenes from now on will only involve men.

Does Keira Knightley have the kind of career where she can makes those kinds of demands?

Insufferable woman, she also won’t let her kids watch certain Disney movies. She needs to lighten up. I get her points to a degree but she’s coming across really annoying. Is she even relevant anymore!? I can’t remember the last time anyone got excited about the prospect of a Keira Knightley film, as usual they try to effect change when people are no longer calling for them anyway

Wake me when she learns how to disappear into a role.

Doesn’t she know about intimacy coordinators, that would be a much more suitable demand. I hope they bring some of those hardcore female porn directors to teach her a lesson.

And yet how many men did this toothpick sleep with for roles? Certainly it wasn't the acting that got her the parts.

I mean how dumb is she, she should have just demanded directorial choice for her projects, a woman director doesn’t in the least preclude that it will be a safe set or what ever she’s looking for.

I always admired that she has the tiniest tits in Chrisendom but never got them inflated.
But she's now approaching Kate Winslet-level windbaggery with this hop-on-the-bandwagon shite.

Having a female director doesn’t guarantee anything. Remember not long ago there was a female director who was in trouble for insisting that actresses look more intense while doing sex scenes? I can’t remember who it was but female directors are certainly no guarantee things will be better.

And the world heaves a sigh of relief. No one wants to see this ugly, flat-chested, overrated block of wood with a cheesegrater for a chin having sex.

If the director (regardless of gender) wants sex/nude scenes they would be required to disclose them before anybody signed on.
If a person doesn't want to do them, don't take the role. Pretty simple.

I guess she didn't hear about that whole Ruth Wilson/Sarah Treem/The Affair situation if she assumes women helming a project means it won't be gratuitous.

Recently saw her in Cronenberg’s “A Dangerous Method,” where she briefly shows her tits (such as they are). I have always been sort of neutral on her as an actress, but she was Razzie-level bad in this, and this came out 10 years ago.
She’s about to age out of relevance (if she hasn’t already) and so does an interview like this to remind the world that she exists, as well as to plant the seeds of an excuse when her career is officially in the shitter.

I don’t blame, sis. A lot of the straight male directors in the industry are fucking perverts. If I were a woman I wouldn’t do nudity and sex scenes for anybody but female or gay directors, either. The straight men are rapey.

There are plenty of actresses who don't do nude scenes and never have. No need to make a big deal out of the decision by announcing it. Michelle Pfeiffer decided long ago not to get her tits out. She never felt the need to announce it as if expecting a pat on the head for it.
