Awful like a car wreck; you want to look away but simply can't.
I did so many of those in my 20s. I hope they’re never seen again. I even did one where they only filmed the inside of my mouth.

Pizza Hut pizza was actually edible in 1988.

R1 I'm in a training film for school high school photographers. I have skater bangs and visible peen line-it's mortifying! Although, I'd take that 30" waist back.

I just watched that entire video, OP. Ida beat that old woman behind the trashcans after my shift. Remember this gem?

That old bitch in the Pizza Hut commercial deserves to be slapped.

That Sizzler promo was insane. It was weirdly sexualized at points, yet had the overall feel of "Up with People" or a mega-church in Denver. The aesthetic was SO 1991; you can see it trying desperately to claw its way out of the clutches of the 80s.

Remember a world where people were actually trained to do their jobs,no matter how menial they might seem? That was the same world where every job offered insurance immediately, and sick days . Long gone and never coming back.

Love those staph infested fingernails scraping my lettuce and vegetables, oh I know, they scrubbed those hands spotless of course.

Get in the Arby's Zone!
Because your compensation is such that a spotless restaurant and ecstatic customers should be the norm.

I'm in a driver's safety video made by our state many years ago. Several months ago, I checked and it is still available for rental through libraries across our state. A friend and I are the leads.

I was in elementary school in 1988. Dining in at Pizza Hut was my family's Friday night thing, often using Book-It gift certificates. The salad bar was a must, and soda always tasted better in those pitchers and red plastic glasses.
But if I'd seen that old woman lurking around the dining room, I'd have kicked her in the cunt.

I had to watch awful training videos with Harry Potter's morbidly obese uncle when I worked at Bloomingdales in high school.

I worked briefly at a restaurant as a busboy and one of the duties was to mix lettuce with the Caesar salad dressing, which we did with our bare hands, and take it out to the salad bar. There wasn’t any requirement to wash hands before doing it.

Food preparation without wearing gloves?
Would be mandatory today at least in the fast food franchises. Ironically, they have the safest food to eat.
Rarely do I go to a restaurant as I know those chefs wouldn't know a plastic glove if they fell over one.

Wow, Jane Wiedlin must have really been hurting for money. I know her solo career didn't take off but damn, have some standards.

I remember seeing one when I worked at Border's that featured French and Saunders. And maybe John Cleese?

The music screams 1982.

All these political threads, a year of inhuman racial injustice, and a pandemic, it’s good to see everyone getting down to brass tacks. As my friend Tractor would say, “good work, men.”
