Is there a new way to post links so the image preview shows up?
I can't see the majority of images other people post (only the little rounded rectangle to click on) and nothing I try to attach shows up. I've tried copy image address and open image in a new tab and copying that link and neither work.
Preview images is turned on in my settings.
The main reason I paid to register was for this feature and now it doesn't work.

I have the same problem. Any solutions? Work-arounds?

Only images from articles or Twitter show up. If you want your image to show up, put it in a tweet or write an article for it.

Well, I've learned if you want to post a pic of a film or movie star, you can link to an image at imdb and it will show here.
Beyond that, I don't know. It really is a loss.
I can't imagine how the Tasteful Friends are dealing with this horrendous change. How do they link to fabric swatches, paint colors, interior photos etc?[italic] And what about the porn addicts??

I usually have to post the image to one of those free image hosting forums, then post that URL here

R4 that doesn’t work anymore.

r2 & r3 are correct. Wikipedia images show up as well, but the pictures have to be part of something else. Stand alone pictures don't show

What’s the rationale for this change?

I see them fine on my bell phone but not on my laptop.

A few people suggested that the change was to stop NSFW from showing up before you choose to click on the link. To me it seems like just another random glitch...

You have a Bell phone, R8?

IMO, DL must have agreements with certain websites (e.g., Twitter, Daily Mail, YouTube) to show a full review photo. I liked it better the way that it was before when you could post just a photo or a GIF.

I gave R8 a 'W&W' for that humorously ironic typo, R10.

[quote][R4] that doesn’t work anymore.
It still works, but before you had to copy + paste the URL of the picture itself. Now, after you upload an image you have to copy + paste the URL in the address bar
