I mean, wow.
Was Tom Berenger really this ripped at one time?

Yes.
He shows off this physique in In Praise of Older Women (1978).

god he was so beautiful. I have sat through a lot of garbage movies just because he was in them.

i always loved that movie LAST RITES from 1988 where he plays a horny tempted priest and fantasizes about being seduced by daphne zuniga's character...
the dream he has about having sex and the closeup of his face in UTTER ORGASM ECSTASY complete with SEXY whimpering orgasmic moaning is total jack off material!...

He once looked like Paul Newman.

Damn. What is that cock picture from?
I will watch literally anything he’s in, he’s that hot.
That is a very young Beren-jar in OP’s pic.

I think he played football. Maybe that’s why he’s so ripped.

you should've seen him on One Life to Live
by Anonymous | reply 12 | January 24, 2021 2:54 AM |
You want a really good look at his cock, find a movie called AT PLAY IN THE FIELDS OF THE LORD. His character goes native in the Amazon and walks into a native village totally naked, lots of full frontal.

R12 I did.😁
by Anonymous | reply 14 | January 24, 2021 2:59 AM |
R10 That still is from In Praise of Older Women (1978).
Berenger did a lot of nudity in his career. At Play in the Fields of the Lord (1990) is another with plenty of cock shots.

That's pretty much what he looked like in Looking Mr Goodbar. Totally shredded.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | January 24, 2021 3:21 AM |
I was so chilling in Looking for Mr. Goodbar. The way he says "I'm ready now." Yikes.

WAY back in 1999-2000 when I was a very, very handsome 20 year old twink, I worked in the lobby bar at a fancy Santa Monica hotel. Tom and his wife would stay there whenever he was shooting in LA. After shooting, Tom would have drinks in my section. Every day. I've never seen anyone drink more than that man. He'd have an entire bottle of Tanqueray. Before having two bottles of wine with his wife at dinner at the restaurant. Only to come back down to me for 2-10 Sambuca snifters for a nightcap. It was insane...
But we became very good friends over about a year. He'd tell me all about acting. About fame at its peak versus after it had waned. Invited me to set many times. Gave me his phone number. We'd chat every now and then when he was back in South Carolina where he lived. I really, really liked him. He was smart and funny and sort of sad and very, very lonely. Despite his wife, career and new child.
It took the much older bartender (who'd witness all of this from his bar) to finally tell me that Tom was totally into me. I was VERY attracted to him, but it never crossed my mind that he was attracted to me - and I was arrogant at that time and thought everyone wanted me. Ah youth! But not Tom. After that revelation, it was very, very obvious the bartender was spot on. But I was too pussy to ever push it and Tom never made any physical move. Alas. If I could go back in time...

I’d always wondered how he gained his “fame.”
Cute back in his youth, and nice unit (assuming it’s a semi).

Looks like he was a soap star and then Goodbar was his first breakout role.

Tom Berenger on One Life To Live in 1975 - when his character had the hots for a nun!

R19 Thanks. I wasn’t interested enough to google him.

He married Kirstie Alley’s character on the Cheers finale.
This was after Shoot to Kill, I wonder if this means they were/are friends.

He was very hot in Someone to Watch Over Me.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | January 24, 2021 10:11 PM |
Why wasn't he a bigger star?

A drunk never made a move?! After a year?!

How did such a prodigious drinker manage to live so long? How did he manage to hold on to a career?
[Quote]He was on OLTL and he character died before he deflowered his girlfriend.
So she went ahead and had sex with a corpse?

He was gorgeous. No wonder Theresa takes him home in Goodbar. Who wouldn’t? So charming and chilling in that film.
He had a good run of films in the ‘80s: The Big Chill, Platoon, Shoot to Kill, Someone to Watch Over Me and Major League. His star started to wan in the ‘90s although he was a guest star on Cheers. Maybe it was the lack of good scripts or it was the drinking, who knows. He was handsome, charming and a decent actor but maybe it wasn’t enough?
by Anonymous | reply 34 | January 24, 2021 10:43 PM |
Charming in Goodbar? Was he? He was sex on legs but wasn't the character agitated from the get go?
