Do you have a favorite MST3K?
My favorites are usually the shorts instead of the full movies, because the shorts can be extremely interesting and weird, and you don't have much time to get bored with them as you do with the movies. My favorite of the shorts is almost certainly 'Design for Dreaming" (a musical "industrial" film from General Motors) because the Kitchen of Tomorrow and the Dream Cars of Tomorrow are so fascinating, and because the commentary is just razor-sharp. Runners-up would be "Mr. B Natural" and "Circus on Ice"
For full movies, though, my favorites are "Pod People" and "Manos-Hand of Fate"--mostly because of the commentary. But I like just about any of them where either Crow or Tom Servo makes up a song for the occasion.

Mr B Natural is great even if only because of the Lincoln-Douglas debate after it as to whether Mr B Natural is a man or a woman.

I was also going to list Mr. B Natural. I would have to pick Santa Clause as my fave feature.

There was one that I've been looking for where Crow and Servo have a breakdown after watching Gumby in "Robot Rampage", which they see as racist against robots. I know the cartoon is up but for some reason not their hilarious reaction to it afterward. That and the scene where they lead Joel on a tour of Gamera's shell are two of the funniest.
Pod People with "Trumpy" is the best movie (if I have the title correct).
Joel was super-cute.

"Mr. B Natural" and "Circus on Ice" were also two of my absolute favorites.
"Even my mother would be bored!" Hilarious.
For features, I'd have to give a shout out to "The Sidehackers".

I love the "Pink Candy Floss" song:
___________
These two girls, they make make quite a pair
They both came from your worst nightmare!
They will haunt your souls forever
And now when you see pink.
You're gonna think,
"We're doomed!"
They are agents of Satan!

'Mr. B Natural' is the best of it all, short or feature.
I also love the 'Appreciating Our Parents.'

The shorts are often my favorites ("Mike, where does Coiley fit into God's plan for us?"), but I think my favorite movie is either Catalina Caper or Angels' Revenge.

That show was so wonderful. I came across it when I was going through a particularly difficult time in my life and it was a gift from the heavens.

Mole People is also pretty great.

that show always cracked ,me up. My 95 yr old mother now sits on the edge of her bed and watches her lap TV in her BR. Every time i peer in, i think of MST3K with her the back of her head towards me and just the light of the laptop illuminating her silhouette!

"The Girl in Lovers Lane" featuring "Mr. Big Stupid"

The shorts are wonderful, but I like when they start with General Hospital the most. (In one episode, a nasty looking nurse is referred to as Nurseferatu.)
Favorite "experiments":
Santa Claus Conquers the Martians
anything with Hercules
Beginning of the End
The Brain That Wouldn't Die
The Giant Gila Monster ("I sing and I sing and I sing and I sing . . .")
The Violent Years
Girl Town
and my personal favorite, Teenagers from Outer Space ("When we return to our home planet, the high court may well sentence you to [bold]torture![/bold]")

Thanks to you guys on this thread, I re-watched "Space Mutiny" for the first time in years. I had remembered the different names for the hero (like "Butch Deadlift" and "Slab Gulkhead"), and I remembered the character dying in one scene and appearing in the next; but I had forgot the funniest scene where the hero and heroine have sex and Mike pretends to voice what the heroine is saying, and he acts like a bitchy college girl not enjoying sex: "*(sigh)* NO.... that's NOT right... NO..."

I rotate through my favorites. I usually play an MST3K movie to help me get to sleep at night. Maybe not so PC, but I do love when they do women's voices. Operation Double 007 is a great one. I also love any drinking references.

Deathstalker and the Warriors from Hell. It has some great running jokes and one of the best closing jokes as Deathstalker wonders hopefully that there's "a kingdom out there for me." To which Mike deadpans, "There's not."
I'll always be fond of Alien from LA, the first MST3K I ever saw. It's hilarious for the first half, but it's one of the episodes that trails off as the movie drags on, sadly.

The Ed Wood epics Bride of the Monster and The Violent Years are pretty amazing, and then there's the Mamie Van Doren double-feature (in more ways than one!) Girls Town and Untamed Youth.
But when it comes down to it, I love just about all of the MSTs. It's kind of my signature show.

MST3K perfected the art of pointless bitchery. My favorite is the Space Mutiny episode. But if you only have a minute and fifteen seconds, this compilations will do.
I always forget Big McLargeHuge is in there, and I snort laugh every time I hear it.

I loved Tom Servo's love song to Creepy Girl in 'Catalina Caper'.
The 'General Hospital' shorts with tragic Nurse Jessie brought back painful childhood memories of watching the show in black and white, and the mood was so terribly depressing.

Gamera is really neat, and he's full of turtle meat!
My favorites are "I Accuse My Parents" (which I fondly call "J'Accuse My Parents," for some reason), and "MITCHELL!!" Both make me laugh until I choke. So does the short "The Truck Farmer." Worship the truck farmer at the church of your choice! And the two-parter, "HIRED!" I still text that title to my friend when I get a new job.
I also love certain host segments, like the one for "Sidehackers" (sidehack one time with me!) and the one where they list dozens of Henry Willson-type stage names for beefy actors.

Roll Fizzlebeef, lol. Gloria Henderson in The Sinister Urge is one of my favorite characters.
By the way, I've never laughed harder than seeing Rifftrax Live: Night of the Living Dead in a theater with about 20 other like-minded individuals a few years ago. Good times.

I Accuse My Parents is a favorite. The 'teenager' looks like he's 30. The gayness of the 'job-offer-at-the-diner' scene towards the end is reminds me of Joel and his neighbor.
