Richard Gere & William Baldwin were having to hold back to not fuck each other on camera in the movie ‘Internal Affairs’. I’ve never seen two “straight” men so into each other on film. They had more chemistry and sexual tension together than either did with even Sharon Stone. I bet they fucked in a trailer on set. Any other stars or films with homosex tension?
Richard Arlen and Buddy Rogers in Wings hands down no contest. They think they're in love with Clara Bow but then discover what they mean to each other. One of the all time great screen kisses at the end.

Tim Roth and Harvey Keitel in Reservoir Dogs. The first time I saw the movie I thought Mr. Orange and Mr. White could’ve been fucking. White seemed to really care about Orange even though he hardly knew the guy. He was so invested in him he threatened to kill his long term friend/boss Cabot for Orange’s honor. It seemed super intense to me.
But Tim Roth was pretty fuckable in this movie so maybe it’s understandable.

Brian: Screw Maximilian!
Sally: I do.
Brian: So do I.
There are people who swear they heard this scene on Cabaret's initial release and the word used was "Fuck," not "Screw." But no one has ever found a release print using "Fuck." Michael York partially cleared this up in an interview on the film's 40th anniversary release, saying he and Liza were forced to film the scene both ways (they thought the "Fuck" version played perfectly and didn't want to do another take). They were told it was needed for a TV version.
At any rate, the producers insisted the "Fuck" version was never released commercially, leading to the suggestion the film was previewed in that version, since people remembered hearing it.

R44, I read Bilbo and Thorin as more a case of hero-worship on Bilbo's part. I did think Bofur (James Nesbitt) had a homosexual crush on Bilbo, quickly seeing himself as the hobbit's protector and genuinely shaken when Bilbo attempted to abandon the quest in the Misty Mountains. It's not reciprocated and Bilbo appears to be unaware of it; it's largely dropped (along with all other subtlety) in the subsequent films.

The TV show "Vikings" made the relationship between Ragnar and Athelstan very homoerotic, and depending on the viewers mindset, it could be perceived as a very strong bromance/deep friendship, but others saw them as lovers. I also got a vibe between James Fox and George Segal in "King Rat" . They came to have a stronger connection as James began to see George more than just a smarmy profiteer. They have a scene after James hurts his arm, where George tenderly cradles James face and begs for him to complete his latest transaction.

R119, there was that episode in which a group of Indians knock out Lucas and they kidnap Mark; it was early on in the run so Johnny was still really a boy; the Indian Chief's son had been killed so he takes Mark as a replacement; they throw him over a horse and ride off with him; Mark starts crying at one point and pounds on the Indian Chief's chest ... Lucas comes and nearly kills the guy for taking his son; it ends with Mark and Lucas reunited; tears and hugs.
If I were Mark I would have asked to sleep with 'Paw' that night and he would have said yes. his arm around him, making him feel safe and loved.
