It's funny because we had a thread just yesterday full of people saying DM was a perfectly normal newspaper full of legitimate news, and anyone who mentioned that DM makes stuff up was ignored or dismissed.

We went to the same ballet school located in Carnegie Hall it was called Neubert . She was a little older than me and had a stage mother who was constantly shadowing her. She was aloof and very focused. She didn’t come off as mean or anything , just very focused and she stood out and not because she was talented because she wasn’t. She was kind of chunky and doughy. She was probably 15 . Some years later I met her when I was working retail in the village. She was at my counter with the same old stage mother trailing her. Now in her 20s and much , much thinner. I said hello and mentioned Neubert she smiled and was polite but was the same as back then. Distant and not warm. I get the feeling she isn’t really interested in people unless they might be useful. I was only slightly surprised that she had “made it” as I remember that chubby ,young teen girl practicing with a singled minded focus her ballet moves ,alone ,staring at her self in the studio mirror.

That is very Jenna Maroney of her. I still love Jane always.
