"Call Your Mother," new Kyra Sedgwick sitcom
Ouch, was this AWFUL! I only watched it because I generally enjoy Kyra, but this was really bad. The laugh track was ridiculous, and some of the younger actors were pretty bad. The gay character was over-the-top.
The only noteworthy thing was the use of a flat-earther joke in an episode that featured famous flat-earther Sherri Shepherd (although she wasn't in the scene or the target of the joke.)
And when did Kyra turn into Amy Sedaris (who played her sister-in-law on "The Closer")?

I was not impressed by Kira in [italic]The Closer[/italic], OP. Her southern accent was atrocious.

I thought it was reasonably funny. The gay character had me cracking up, esp. the line about the grooming department at Petco being "kind of a scene".

The promo ad scared me off. It has no where to go but up, which does occasionally happen on a series when things start to gel.
