We have another round of Salmonella making its way through the Pacific NorthWest and birds are spreading it as they gather for food.
Please take down your birdfeeders and give them a good wash. This is catchy and it kills them. Redditors suggest waiting until February to start feeding again.

Our bird feeders are cleaned frequently. My partner is quite the clean freak, and by the time he's finished with them, you could walk them through an operating room without any worries.
