The question is how the hell he ever stayed with her.

I can see walking out on hatchet face Kellyanne but who walks out on their kids like that.

WOWZA. While I don't blame the guy, I think he should have done this four years ago. And he should not be punishing the child for the issues he has with her mother.

He posts on Twitter 24 hours a day. Yes he is married to Kellyanne Conway, but I think he's also gone insane.

They were planning on marketing themselves as an odd couple kind of political pairing after the Trump administration, but this spectacular crash-and-burn has ruined their plans. Kellyanne is no longer marketable as anything, except maybe you could skin her and use her pelt as a chamois.

His walking out on his daughter doesn't surprise me because both parents were terrible to her, alternately using and ignoring her.

R8 Considering Claudia seems to have zero allegiance to either of her parents, I think it's clear they have not been there for her through any of the past four years. Allowing her to get on social media and say bad things about them, even if true, also shows a woeful lack of parenting skills. They needed to get into therapy together as a family unit and heal. Instead it was the wild wild west. There's no clarity, no boundaries, no order, no cohesiveness in that fucking house. You don't have to be a psychic to assume their's has not been a happy home.

Claudia is tons of fun for us, but that girl is damaged. I don't see good things in her future.

I hope Claudia has a grandparent or an aunt/uncle that she can live with until she turns 18. Neither parent is good for her.

The whole dynamic of the Conways is so fucking bizarre. Looking in from the outside it seems like their all actors portraying a family. They all seem to resent each other immensely.

I am skeptical that he "walked out" on his daughter. It seems more likely he had a fight with Kellyanne and took off in a huff. I don't have kids but I don't think a parent is required to be in constant contact with his teenaged kids, all the more so if he's in the middle of a fight with the other parent and he's not a deadbeat dad or otherwise absent or abusive.

Constant contact? No. Contact period, yes. She said she hadn't seen him for days. If they're not a deadbeat or abusive, that's part of the deal with having kids. I had busy parents growing up and there were weeks in a row I didn't physically see them but I always heard from them in some way. Sometimes they'd leave a note. Sometimes they would text (when we had cell phones.) Sometimes they'd pass a message to one of my siblings. Sometimes I'd be leaving and one would be getting home from a work trip. My mom, especially, would call or I'd call her for some random thing.

Well the funny thing that relates to Claudia, my parents not being around was the norm. I'm sure Claudia is used to her parents not being around too. Both of her parents have/had busy careers. It's not like, as a kid, you have any other family dynamic you have lived in to compare to. (And yes, :) , my mom at least was out trying to save the world.)

So if Claudia was saying at one point that she hasn't seen her dad in a long time then it must have been a *really* long time. I'm with the person that says he probably bounced a while ago and finally made it official.

He's been doing those interviews from that location for a month. He used to do them from a different location (possibly somewhere else in their home or an entirely different location) where there was a brick wall behind him and some books off to the side.
