I mostly say electric but have on occasion called it the light Bill.
However, I have NEVER said an appliance used too much light. Especially one that doesn’t even GIVE light.

I call it the electric bill, because in addition to lights I also have a TV, a computer, a microwave, a toaster, a hairdryer that I can't find, hair trimmers...
