I'm a Pitt-neutral myself but I agree with R3 re: the body. When I was in my late 20s I dated an early 50s guy who was naturally tall and slim and from the neck down there was no sign he was out of his 20s. None at all. Skin tone was perfect, smooth, no blemishes, muscular but not in a bulky or worked out way. Fucking bastard. Is it the natural height and slimness that leads to this kind of aging? Just a general genetic blessing?

Lol R7 that was my first thought too. Pitt is one of those people who seems to sort of subsume themselves into their partners - he did it with Jolie, taking on her do-gooding persona etc., and the tattoos don't surprise me at all.

His trashy tattoos make him 1000 times hotter to me. Same with Affleck and his awful phoenix tattoo.

And yeah I always thought Pitt was trashy, at least when he was young he was extremely hot trashy. My opinion of him increased slightly when he was helping to rebuild New Orleans after the hurricane, never understood him and Angelina as a couple but whatever floats his boat.

R48 tbf, it's not having tattoos that's the trashy part imo. It's having tattoos that make you look like vandalized school desk. Chris Evans, Justin Bieber, and apparently Pitt all have tattoos that look like that, and it's a turn off. No matter how attractive the rest of of their body is.

And it’s not because I’m some uptight dork, I just have always known 1) there’s no image or word/phrase that I might be really “into” at any given moment that I’m will still be appealing or meaningful to me for the rest of my life, nor is there any such image or phrase that I value so much I need to have it inked permanently on my body; and 2) I’ve always recognized tattoos as just another stupid fashion trend. That’s all they are now.

Once upon a time, they signaled that you were a real bad-ass: either a metal head, a biker, a convict, gang member, rough trade, etc. Now, they signal that you’re a fucking LEMMING member of one of the more recent, vapid generations. If I want to signal my coolness/punk rock bona fides, I certainly have better ways, especially now. And I’ve always been sexy enough to never need to augment my sexiness with some stupid tat.

That said, I don’t mind when a super hot guy has tattoos, like Brad Pitt—whom I’ve never thought much of, though I’ve known for years through a friend that he’s a hot, raw, bisexual fucker. That’s the most interesting thing about him.
