Well, this is where it all becomes clear it is about optics and not the data. We already know that many of those influencers claim to have had covid and thus would have antibodies. Based on the low incidence of confirmed reinfections worldwide, there is very little evidence that they would get reinfected and spread it to others. So, especially if they have been playing by the rules up until now, the thought process is likely that they should be able to relax for one weekend since their risk factor is so low. Wasting time shaming them misses the point.

If you go without antibodies, then you are indeed taking a risk which could be mitigated if you wore a mask around unknown people while there and when you return.

Really seems that risk mitigation is the better method but people really don’t get what that means.

My life has been totally fucked over by Lyme disease, something I never even knew was possible.
