20 people on a 29 foot boat?
by Anonymous | reply 4 | January 3, 2021 1:16 AM |
Yeah - what kind of idiots would travel 140 miles in a 29 foot boat - with 19 other people?
That boat could handle probably 10 max.
There would be no way I would get in that thing - particularly the Atlantic Ocean.
Also, Bimini is south. Why not head toward the Keys and hug the coast the way up?

20 people couldn’t have been doing much “luxury reveling” on a 29’ cuddly cabin boat. Idiotic to attempt 140 nautical miles in that tub, with that many people on board. Here come the lawyers.

Well I guess it seemed like a good idea at the time?

Bermuda Triangle?

Were any of the men hung?

The article didn’t say anything about sea conditions or weather. That’s a small boat for so many people, not a smart idea.

Still, a better fate than being in Florida.

so I wonder what happened, did it sink because it was too heavy? was it hit by a rogue wave? bermuda triangle?
by Anonymous | reply 18 | January 3, 2021 3:37 AM |
Laugh if you will, but pirates are still a very real thing in those waters. They might have run across the wrong boat, and were robbed and thrown overboard.

Um R18. Pretty sure it was hit by a death ray from an intergalactic warship sent to take out Darwin Award candidates.
