OP is worse than Maria Avedici Santoya.

by Anonymousreply 1January 1, 2021 5:40 AM

He's good looking.

by Anonymousreply 2January 1, 2021 5:42 AM

Wait? This does not make sense ?

by Anonymousreply 3January 1, 2021 5:42 AM

I don’t understand why the judge ruled that religious arbitration is in order.

by Anonymousreply 4January 1, 2021 5:47 AM

They both look evil

by Anonymousreply 5January 1, 2021 5:49 AM

The judge is in the Scio Cult! Duh!!!!!!!!!

by Anonymousreply 6January 1, 2021 5:53 AM

Am I wrong in assuming the arbitration must be for civil suits related to the situation?

Because I don't think there's any legal way that actual criminal cases would go to private arbitration. I've also just looked at a few articled about this and a couple specifically refer to a "lawsuit" which was filed against Masterson. That makes me think this is referring to civil action not criminal.

It's bad article writing as far as I'm concerned. They probably assume anyone who cares is up on the specifics but I'm sure not. Oh well.

by Anonymousreply 7January 1, 2021 5:58 AM

Is that Lauren Poupon at R5?

by Anonymousreply 8January 1, 2021 6:01 AM

That’s the wife Bijou Phillips, R8

by Anonymousreply 9January 1, 2021 6:07 AM

Sister of Busy Phillips and Phillip Phillips?

by Anonymousreply 10January 1, 2021 6:09 AM

No, unfortunately daughter of John

by Anonymousreply 11January 1, 2021 6:15 AM

John who?

by Anonymousreply 12January 1, 2021 6:16 AM

Oh, dear....

by Anonymousreply 13January 1, 2021 6:20 AM

[quote] WOW. He lucked out big time

Like hell it was luck. He's a member or they got to him.

by Anonymousreply 14January 1, 2021 6:33 AM

He is very hot

by Anonymousreply 15January 1, 2021 6:47 AM

No he is not r15, you blind idiot. He’s balding and has no chin.

Oh and he’s in a cult and rapes women.

by Anonymousreply 16January 1, 2021 8:05 AM

R5 it is a rather creepy photo.

by Anonymousreply 17January 1, 2021 10:56 AM

[quote] On Wednesday, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Steven Kleifield ruled that the harassment complaint from Chrissie Carnell Bixler, her husband, musician Cedric Bixler-Zavala, Marie Bobette Riales and two Jane Does must be settled by the Church in “religious arbitration,” since an arbitration agreement already exists among the parties that compels disputes to be handled by the Church of Scientology.

Their mistake was to go after a Scientology member who lives in Los Angeles. Scientology has their agents in all kinds of powerful positions there.

And I guess the plaintiffs were pressured into agreeing to the arbitration agreement which basically means they'll settle out of court (whatever that settlement entails).

by Anonymousreply 18January 1, 2021 11:24 AM

Scientology will probably offer these women huge sums of money to drop their criminal case, or it they can't drop the cases, say that upon further thought they did consent to having Masterson rape the hell out of them. LOL

by Anonymousreply 19January 1, 2021 11:29 AM

Of course! This is asshole is white and male. They're not going to bill cosby him.

WHITE PRIVILEGE!!!!!!!!

by Anonymousreply 20January 1, 2021 12:18 PM

R19 why is that funny?

by Anonymousreply 21January 1, 2021 12:18 PM

Allegations of rape this judge decided fall under the aegis of "dispute"??

by Anonymousreply 22January 1, 2021 12:24 PM

[quote] [R19] why is that funny?

Because where Scientology is concerned they have enough money to "persuade' some or all of these women to lie through their teeth. I think it's hilarious how fast many people will forget about their pain and suffering the the check is big enough. Hopefully these women will be the exception, but I don't hold out a lot of hope.

by Anonymousreply 23January 1, 2021 12:28 PM

This has to be in regards to the civil suit NOT the criminal case brought by the district attorney.

by Anonymousreply 24January 1, 2021 12:32 PM

This is what it must be. These are civil suits. Many civil suits for various reasons legally have to try to be settled through arbitration, mediation or a settlement conference before there can be a trial. Very few civil cases go to trial. The arbitrator or mediator will NOT be a scientologist. The parties together or the judge pick a neutral person.

by Anonymousreply 25January 1, 2021 12:54 PM

He was always the hawt one on that show.

by Anonymousreply 26January 1, 2021 12:59 PM

He needs my foot in his ass.

by Anonymousreply 27January 1, 2021 1:04 PM

It's just about the civil suit, not the criminal case.

[quote]This does not affect Danny Masterson’s criminal case, which is an entirely different matter. This only regards the civil lawsuit that four of his rape accusers had brought (and the husband of one of them) regarding harassment since they came forward to the LAPD with their rape allegations.

He was charged today. 3 counts.

by Anonymousreply 29May 21, 2021 8:19 PM

He's a despicable POS:

"During Wednesday's hearing, the woman said that she and the That 70s Show actor were five years into a relationship in November 2001 and were together in their shared home when she allegedly woke up to him raping her.

"I tried pushing him off me and saying no I don't want to have sex with you," the woman reportedly said. "He wouldn't stop. So I did something that I knew would make him angry and likely to get off me. I pulled his hair. He has these rules, 'no touch hair rule,' 'no touch face rule.' He had this thing about his hair, so I knew if I pulled it really, really hard, he would get off me. But what he did was he hit.

The woman said in court that Masterson smacked her across the face with his fist. He then allegedly spit on her and called her "white trash," the AP reported."

[quote]He was charged today. 3 counts.

And faces 45 years if convicted on all charges.

by Anonymousreply 34May 22, 2021 12:13 AM

Actually, that account is very mild, r30. Tony Ortega's been doing excellent play by play reporting from the courtroom. The first woman who testified gave a harrowing account about an ordeal that lasted hours.

The good news is he's being indicted on June 7 and Co$ came out of the prelim hearings with a big black eye.

by Anonymousreply 35May 22, 2021 12:13 AM

The harassment claims will not be mediated by an uninterested party. This is “religious arbitration” overseen by the church. Meaning the arbitrator will be a member of CoS. Disgusting and unethical.

by Anonymousreply 36May 22, 2021 12:17 AM

I hope that they'll be able to speak during the arbitration process. Other former members in a protracted arbitration process have communicated with Ortega. I'm thinking about Miscavage's former tailor and his wife, Italians whose name escapes me. But their arbitration was to recover funds they had donated to the cult.

by Anonymousreply 37May 22, 2021 12:35 AM

He'll look like Phil Spector when they unscramble that comb over.

by Anonymousreply 38May 22, 2021 12:50 AM

[quote]Sister of Busy Phillips and Phillip Phillips?

Of the Wilson Phillips.

by Anonymousreply 39May 22, 2021 12:54 AM

The arbitration process will be held during a three-hour tour on one of their cruisers.

by Anonymousreply 40May 22, 2021 12:55 AM

The Cunt is going down. Busy might as well find herself another abusive fucker that she craves getting hit smart right up her her fucked up head.

It's who she is, nothing more, nothing less.

by Anonymousreply 41May 22, 2021 6:12 AM

He's not married to Busy Phillips.

by Anonymousreply 42May 22, 2021 6:18 AM

[Quote] Busy might as well...

I am so sorry! I meant the active, enabling abuser @BijouPhillips who actively enables and seems to get off on sexual predation by her husband.

The Papa John Philips family, including #Michelle_Philips just seemed to sacrifice their progeny to sexual predation. Even Mick Jagger was appalled by Bijou's "father."

by Anonymousreply 43May 22, 2021 6:26 AM

Busy Phillips has nothing to do with this family. She's unrelated.

Chynna Phillips and Bijou Phillips are half-sisters. John and Michelle Phillips of The Mama & The Papas are the parents of Chynna. John Phillips and Geneviève Waïte are the parents of Bijou.

Chynna and Bijou are also half-sisters with Mackenzie Phillips whose parents are John Phillips and Susan Adams.

DK if anyone can date the picture @r44. It looks like a police crime evidence photo of a battered victim.

by Anonymousreply 49May 22, 2021 8:39 AM

R3 Yes it does:

“ On Wednesday, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Steven Kleifield ruled that the harassment complaint from Chrissie Carnell Bixler, her husband, musician Cedric Bixler-Zavala, Marie Bobette Riales and two Jane Does must be settled by the Church in “religious arbitration,” since an arbitration agreement already exists among the parties that compels disputes to be handled by the Church of Scientology.”

Alternate Headline: “Judge Enforces Celebrity Cult’s Legally Rendered Contract”

by Anonymousreply 50May 22, 2021 8:43 AM

R36, he's been indicted on criminal charges.

The civil suit is going through Co$ arbitration, that has nothing to do with the criminal charges. All parties involved previously signed an agreement stating they would go through arbitration for civil matters so there's nothing anyone can do.

by Anonymousreply 51May 22, 2021 9:38 AM

Is this like Sharia court?

by Anonymousreply 52May 22, 2021 9:57 AM

R51, how is that legal? How does Scientology get to decide law?

by Anonymousreply 53May 22, 2021 9:57 AM

He was hawt on that Seventies Show. All the guys were but he was the most masculine so he was the hawter one.

by Anonymousreply 54May 22, 2021 10:07 AM

That whole show was douche central.

by Anonymousreply 55May 22, 2021 10:21 AM

Straight douches are hawt!

by Anonymousreply 56May 22, 2021 11:02 AM

They're not deciding law in this case r53. The arbitration is in the civil suit, not the criminal case.

The people suing Masterson signed a binding contractual agreement with the Scienos saying that any civil suit they brought up would go into Scientology arbitration. This arbitration wouldn't be happening had they simply not signed that contract.

If they were coerced into signing I wouldn't be surprised but we won't find out about that until later, if ever.

by Anonymousreply 57May 22, 2021 11:41 AM

Yeah, R56, right up until they beat you up for not having a pussy.

by Anonymousreply 58May 23, 2021 3:19 AM

The California Supreme Court has granted the petition for review submitted by Danny Masterson’s accusers after their lawsuit was derailed by a decision by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Steven Kleifield.

In a unanimous ruling, the state supreme court is asking Kleifield to show cause for why he made the decision he did, granting the Church of Scientology’s motion denying Masterson’s accusers (those who were former Scientologists) of a right to trial and forcing them into the church’s internal “religious arbitration.”

Wow, this is huge. These former Scientologists are going to get the appeal they’ve been asking for without first having to go through Scientology’s internal star chamber.
