'Give a Girl a Break' when Hollywood tried to make Gower and Marge Champion film stars

One inane dance number after another, either on rooftops or in dream sequences, even perky Debbie Reynolds, can't save this Broadway show-themed tinkly stinker.

Helen Wood (aka Dolly Sharp of DEEP THROAT) is the only thing that lends lasting interest to this film.

I love "Give a Girl a Break". One of MGM's most unpretentious and entertaining small musicals.
