Between this (which he has never done before), that shirtless mag spread (which he has never done before) & claiming a few times that people judge him before they "know" him and his drinking at a photoshoot, he's trying to change his image. He's probably also bored from not working and wants attention but this isn't his brand. It's too late for that. This picture looks awkward. He looks every second of his 43 years. He has no clue how thirst trapping works and he's giving old gay dad who doesn't eat vibes. He needs to stick to what he was doing & let professionals (like the one who took those shirtless pics in that pool and tub he uses for every celeb) take these kinds of photos of him if he does it at all.

It's not a thirst trap. His legs are like boiled newt sticks - his nips are flatter than a baby's and his shorts are goofy. He's just being himself. Matt Bomer is the most boring actor and man in show business. He won't have a breakdown when he loses his looks. Someone would have to inform him first. He never even knew how to use them. He's a less talented model - so he became a famous actor. That no one remembers even when he's onscreen. He does have a completely smooth, round, soft and colorless white ass. No hair, even around the hole. So does Anderson Cooper. But Anderson is a GOOD fuck. And better looking. Bomer is exactly where he should be: near the end of his career, in shorts my brother in law looks better in.

Does he definitely manage his own Instagram or pay someone to post for him? I’ve noticed him liking posts and even commenting sometimes on younger gay comedians like Cole Escola and even Carey O’Donnell - who isn’t that well-known. And Ryan o’Connell too. I’m surprised they are on his radar?

His comments are always generic emojis - I could see some random gayling handling his Instagram and just getting his approval for posts.

Deux moi had a recent post about how many celebs have someone else doing their social media - it just made me think maybe he’s one of them.

R22, From the mistakes he used to make it's clearly him managing it. Every gay man knows who those three are or follows them. They've all been on or worked on TV shows or gone to the same events. The second one had that insanely famous Tilda Swinton account and is also a tv writer. He mostly follows, shares and comments on comedic accounts.

R21, That's not a "thirst trap." Besides being from about 20 years ago that was a personal photo his friend took and put online. There were many from that day they spent at the beach but the rest disappeared from the internet years ago. He always looked better thicker. Now he's apparently a vegetarian.

If these is how harshly Matt Bomer is being scrutinized, what hope do the rest of us have?

See his skin looks nice and healthy in the pic at R21. He also had a robust stockiness.

Somewhere along the line, he developed some kind of body dysmorphia where he prefers to look wax-like and mannequinish, and to keep his weight down very low.

I remember when XXL was released he did a pap walk while on vacation in Hawaii and he was shockingly pale. Old Mr Peabody, who is British, was ten shades darker than him.

He's definitely lost weight, but I just assume it means he's not the type to stick to a hypertrophy workout/diet regimen if it's not needed for a role or whatever. I'm sure with his genes he could bulk up again real quick if he needed to.
