I’m confused about Jake and Harley. Did they move to where the studio is based or they still in Wisconsin as the CB pages says? R84 Absolutely!! Taylor was part of the Cameron/Joey/Angel debacle in NYC, and decided to "quit" writing for Helix, after the three books. But I guess because of the success of "Vegas Nights", she was lured back by Keith and company (I doubt she approached them herself) to start writing again. She's written a few new movies since coming back, the latest being "Stealing Hearts" which is pretty awful dialogue-wise (okay, plot wise too). And I was very surprised to find out she didn't write either "Return to Helix Academy" nor "Helix Academy: Wrestling". One of Helix's editors wrote both (Return was meh, Wrestling has at least a thin plot).

I think the company started going downhill when they moved to Vegas.

They need new management, some new directors (even "guest" directors) to breath life into the content, models who are less 8teenboy-twink and more jock-built. a way to compete with the OF content that everyone porn model seems to have these days, and a better direction of where they want to take the company.

But as long as the fan girls (yes, they outnumber the gay guys who are members) keep buying the content and renewing their membership, nothing will change.

So while it doesn’t appear Trevor Harris left on bad terms, what about Kane Fox? Does Helix have an issue with him?

The answer to the above is yes, Helix did have an issue with Kane Fox. Actually most of the models who worked with Kane and the directors who worked with him had an issue with him. Fans and members also didn't like Kane, who was described as "difficult" by those who worked with him.

^And by CEO, one must gather that Trevor is referring to Keith Miller. This whole Trevor/Kane relationship/breaking up/back together was the start of the next chapter of Helixgate. With Kane not being well-liked, he screws around on Trevor, who was well-liked and respected. Kane decides not to renew his contract (or it was a mutual decision), gets back with Trevor and wants Trevor to commit, and then convinces Trevor to break ties with Helix so he can become a free-agent like Kane. Maybe this was Kane getting back to Keith and Helix for the way they treated him? Maybe he really didn't want Trevor to be happy at Helix (as stated above, Trevor had no intention of leaving Helix)... I think Kane is the main manipulator in all this (just a guess, I have no direct knowledge). I also think Trevor got the short end of the stick.

Let's see what happens with Trevor and Kane as they embark on their next, non-Helix adventure together.

In the meantime, I personally think Helix lost a good performer in Trevor, and a potential future director. And that's a shame.

Trevor is conventionally cute and looks better since he acquired a little bulk, but he never seems to be having a good time. If he became the next Max, would that mean he'd be horrible director? And where does being a porn director get you in the long run, esp. with studio porn not being a growing concern.

Onlyfans may work in the short run, but truly making money at it requires regular production of content (once/week rather than turning out a studio video every 4-6 week)and only a relatively small number guys are able to do that and they are basically non-twinks who appear in each others videos (so basically it's like the studio system with worse photography).
