No. Why are so many fraus and gays so obsessed with this stupid show? I tried to watch it and I just couldn’t. Sarah Jessica Parker is an uggo. There is no way she would attract so many cute boyfriends.

I think I have known some gals like this. However, they may have been influenced by SATC.

I have (these types are plentiful in fashion retail). Like someone mentioned above, I think a lot of these women were influenced by the show though. I don't keep in touch with most of them, but from what I've gathered, their lives didn't continue on the same trajectory as CB's. Men really aren't interested in vaginally-busted, pseudo-alcoholic 30-somethings who over dress. Further, contrary to what the show presented, spending high amounts on fashion led to them becoming broke, not successful.

A group of them made me watch this train wreck once. And only once.

While we were arguing about it the t.v. was still on. Next thing I knew I was watching the premier of Six Feet Under.

The girls were babbling about Carrie & company and I found my favorite series ever.

That's the one good thing I can say about that horrible show and it's unlikable characters.

I do, actually. Not completely, she's kind of a mixture of Carrie Bradshaw and Grace Adler. What's funny is that she really hates both of those characters and can't see how similar she is to them.

You mean a deluded woman way past her 20s that eats brunch everyday with her unreal friends, acts like (and is) a self-absorbed bitch and can't afford any of the thousands of shoes she has bought? No, thankfully, I don't.

Isn't that why Carrie was so desperate to land "Big?" She couldn't afford her lifestyle on her shop girl earnings, so she needed a wealthy man to make that happen for her, and to pay off her spectacular debt.
