Interesting...this actually is a language specific to heraldry called Blazon. Blazon is also a verb and a noun meaning to describe the design.

A friend of mine is one of the British heralds. If you're visiting St Paul's Cathedral (post-COVID), it's a short walk to the College of Arms, which is worth a visit.
