I guess you have to use the "GIF link" format.
Do GIFs work with the new Datalounge link feature?

What is the gif link format?

Thanks for the excellent tutorial OP. So insightful and clear on how to use the gif link format. You should look into a job in teaching or corporate training.

What are you talking about? No one’s ever had a problem linking pictures here.

Datalounge and my Firefox browser let me post GIFs with the "View Image" feature.
Under the Images tab of a Google search, you Control-Click on a GIF (using a Mac) and then select "View Image." Then cut and paste the link.
Sites like giphy offer three formats after you select "Copy Link." The "GIF link" format looks like this (ignore the spaces, backslashes and DOTS I had to include to pass Muriel).

Wrong, r9.
Moving GIFs have been disabled for years on DL. Muriel actually fixed something, though I prefer the grey caption to the big white banner at the bottom of every image now.

Two steps forward, one step back.

It's really incredibly ugly, imposing the weird green rounded corners window and then inserting copy below.
Muriel? Turn in your gay badge. You have no taste, bitch.

Thankfully on windows, you don’t have to go through all those extra steps. Just right click on the image and select “copy image address”

What about iPad OS?

The embed format doesn't work for me.
Maybe it's a Firefox or Apple issue.

GIF functionality is being overdiscussed by the clueless.

iOS: GIFS do NOT work in Safari by copying the GIF URL in into the “Web Site Link” at the bottom.

R23 and R24, bottom here but love a top with a substantial ass like your two GIFs. Guys with asses like that always seem to know how to throw a good fuck.
