That, the first Daniels lawsuit, exposed the payments made by Michael Cohen that were intended to suppress information that might have harmed Trump immediately prior to the election.

If it weren't for him, we never would have known Michael Cohen paid Stormy Daniel's hush money (which Trump paid back). That led to Cohen being convicted and sent to jail, which resulted in him testifying before Congress where AOC asked him whether Trump fraudulently evaluated his properties differently, depending on whether it was for banks or the IRS. And that in turn led to the current investigation by the DA in New York. So, while flawed, he deserves a great deal of credit in potentially bringing DJT to justice.
