I'd recommend it to anyone looking to reduce. I've never felt so svelte!
AYDS helped curb my appetite and I lost weight!

Good thinkin', R3! That'll slim 'em up but good!

Lol the "AYDS" troll is back!
I remember you from at least five or ten years ago.
You would always post this shit.
And now you've returned.
And you're still as unfunny as ever!

Can someone tell me how I can get AYDS?
by Anonymous | reply 6 | December 21, 2020 11:40 PM |
We used to gobble my mother’s by the handful.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | December 21, 2020 11:46 PM |
I actually had AYDS back in the day. I got it from my sister.

AYDS also helped me lose weight! It worked even better than the grapefruit diet!
by Anonymous | reply 11 | December 22, 2020 12:05 AM |
Oh R10 stop! The joke is about a popular diet candy that suddenly had a very unfortunate name! This was a real product.

It tasted like caramels. You were supposed to take one with a hot beverage a half hour before a meal. Impossible to stop with just one. The active ingredient was benzocaine, later changed to phenylpropanolamine.

R12 I know what it is. But it skirts too close to the memories of those who died, and the reference to weight loss is crass,
Shame on you people.

39 years is too soon?
AYDS worked in a fraction of that.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | December 22, 2020 12:43 AM |
I wouldn't mind getting AYDS.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | January 3, 2021 2:00 AM |
Did they rename it at one point or just stop making it? Would the ingredients be legal today?

[quote] The name Aydslim was tested in Britain during 1988, and ultimately the name of the product was changed in the United States in approximately January 1989 to Diet Ayds. Advertisements for Diet Ayds could be found in newspapers until at least 1993. The product has since been withdrawn from the market.
