He convinced Sondra to get two abortions and have her tubes tied. All the while he was having kids with another girlfriend. Sondra discovered this years after she and Clint were separated.

I think, though, that things look very different for women like Locke in 2020 than they even did in 2017. The Me, Too movement made a huge dent in the denial most of our society was in over the abuse perpetrated by celebrities on common folk.

Eastwood showed his true colors in 2008 with that pathetic "talk to the stool" moment at the RNC. We consume a lot of entertainment produced by sociopaths because they relentless rise to the top, shedding people who helped them all along the way.

Clint Eastwood sounds like a cold, kind of heartless person, but no one *makes* you get an abortion. Having a baby would have been a deal-breaker for Clint. So, I think she made the choice to have the abortions. Theoretically, contraception should be the responsibility of both parties. In reality, if you really don't want to get pregnant, you don't delegate that responsibility.

Perhaps because I was never crazy about Eastwood as an actor or director, I was only dimly aware of Locke. Eastwood seemed to like bland looking bleached blondes and she fit the prototype. I'm sure he knew how to find women he could control and looking at her wiki bio, I could see that she was probably vulnerable in a way that a woman married to a gay man, who was a literal bastard, and grew-up in a repressive Southern town. She supposedly had affairs before Eastwood, so presumably she wasn't one of those fag hags who was afraid of sex but rather one of those fag hags who has no idea how to have a successful relationship with a man. Oddly, she opted for a settlement, shortly before getting a hefty settlement in court. It's mean but as someone on the other thread noted, she looked like a ferret and I rather wondered how she could be a leading lady without Eastwood. Locke's husband seems like the victor in all of this---e was her only heir and she'd been supporting his career as a sculptor (sculpting what, no one ever mentions) all along.

Sondra and her husband admitted that they never had sex because he was gay. She went back to him after splitting with clint. Would a straight woman give up sex like this? Clint's son is gay. Clint was shy in school. Why would a tall,handsome very athletic boy be shy? His girlfriend s are all dogs.

Dogs? I thought Sondra Locke was attractive.

But Clint's a piece of shit. The only film I ever walked out on was Magnum Force.
