New Wave Gays listen up! Limahl has a gorgeous new song out!
You might remember Limahl from Kajagoogoo, whose biggest hit was “Too Shy.” Just as they were exploding in popularity, the other guys kicked Limahl out of the band, thus consigning them to oblivion. Limahl is adorable, has a lovely voice and also the best 80s hair.
I remember loving his solo album, Don’t Suppose, but I don’t think it did well. He doesn’t seem to have been very active in his solo career, and Kajagoogoo did reunite for a while some years ago.
Their first album was produced by Nick Rhodes of Duran Duran. I think they could have been huge....oh, well, I love the new song.

R4 Yes I was going to say, his theme song from The Neverending Story is pretty darn iconic. An amazing tune, magical and inspiring! I forgot how much I used to love Kajagoogoo and Limahl. This is a great thread, OP! Gonna listen to the new song now.

R5 here. Watching new video. Love the song, his voice, and his rougher, older image. But got that video is insufferable. I hate anonymous nobodies who carry a narrative dramatic plot through a music video. I'd rather watch the singer alone in a field or on a sound stage than endure the melodrama of these nobodies play-acting the song.
