Brad put out some good performances like in Legends of the Fall, Fight Club, Kalifornia, 12 Monkeys and Se7en. The whole relationship drama with Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie was so fucking lame and stupid. Made him look like a joke. Putting all the crap out in the public. Yes, I do believe celebrities call paparazzi and have their agents put their name in the press. It really took away from taking Brad seriously as an actor.

Funny - he's never really been a thing with the gay community. He's fine - I like him as an actor and as a person.

But he's never registered that much. It's more of a straight woman thing, I think.

I don't think Brad ever did a gay or bisexual role in his early years like Keanu Reeves, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ryan Philippe and Jake Gyllenhaal did to warrant a big following in the gay community.

Brad looks like he belongs on the cover of romance novels and does seem to be more of a fixation of straight women. Also, he may look too feminine in the face for some gays that like very macho looking dudes.

IMO, Brad Pitt is the male equivalent of the hot "girl next door." He was probably the prom king in high school. Despite his aw shucks demeanor, I think he had a burning desire for fame. Robert Redford said in an interview, comparing himself and BP, that he (RR) was less fascinated with Hollywood because he grew up in L.A. BP is from Springfield, MO. I'm sure Angelina Jolie (famous parents) was a lot more savvy than he was.

Legends Of The Fall is one long hymn to his beauty. I think the director, cinematographer & editor just fell in love with it. eg in the linked scene it’s Pitt who has the backlight, NOT the actress. That’s almost unheard of!

That lower face lift he had after leaving Jolie didn’t last long though!

I was quite surprised to learn the youngest brother in Legends of the Fall was Elliot from E.T. Henry Thomas did such a great job in that film.

He was beautiful in "Meet Joe Black" too, even if the film was terrible.

It’s interesting that it took an ENGLISH director, Ridley Scott, to play homage to his beauty, and thereby instantly rocket him to stardom in Thelma & Louise. I think it was Pauline Kael who said that the camera was allowed to linger on him like Garbo. (Kael always was alive to any hint of homoeroticism.) The scene could have been shot very differently, with most of the focus on Gina Davis.

What? Family pap strolls galore. Watch their interview b/f the release of “By the Sea,” claiming their marriage was rock solid. Next thing; divorce. He started the whole thing with the faux family photo shoot (him and AJ) when he was married to Jennifer Anniston. IMO, he was 100% on board with the “power couple” status and all that came with it (more fame, more money, more power, more roles offered).

Brad and Angelina was a relationship that forced onto the public in tabloids. Most people did not give a shit just like a lot of people don't give a shit about Jennifer Aniston's love life. I find it very hard to believe that they didn't hire a bunch of paparazzi to follow them around and have a ton of publicists on payroll to document everything they did to the press. Then a few years later he did an interview where he talked about how bored he was in his life with Jennifer. The fact that she even still talks to him since he finally got tired of Angie makes her look like a fool. That guy is a fucking slob who did her dirty. She should have told him to kick rocks.

He seems like he dated women to raise his profile. A lot of these women were popular young actresses. Robin Givens, Juliette Lewis, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie, etc. So he essentially fucked his way to stay relevant.

If he was really down-to-earth and wanted a happy homemaker type of wife, why did he not date regular nonfamous women?

Brad and Anglie sold their relationship ad nauseam and Jennifer milked the jilted wife image to get sympathy from the fraus.
