Are there any modern magazines basically devoted to photography of the Male form and physique?
Something in the style and vein of Don Whitmans photography?Original photography of naked or near naked men with their beautiful athletic or beefcake bodies? I have searched but seem to be struggling to find any. Can any dataloungers please help with information and recommendations as I'm really keen to subscribe to something like this.

Pinups magazine had a great run. A very particular type of men, mostly bears and regular fellows. There was a great issue featuring Guillermo Diaz. Each issue features just one guy, images only, no text. Was lovely.

No, we have porno now.
But there are tons of gay physique photographers. Nobody’s doing OP’s antiquated aesthetics full time.
Some of Aaron Cobbett’s throwback work is like AMG in a way.

Thanks r9 I guess fitness models galore on instagram not just on the models page but the photographers is a modern version of this . I just feel the classic pictures that were taken of people like Ed Fury and other models back in the day still have their place .

Dear OP, the word 'physique' seems to have fallen out of use. And, as we've been told, most magazines have disappeared.

r11 I will just have to hunt harder!! Im digging about online to see if there is any niche magazines or publications even if online only that will satisfy what I am looking for. Male physique is used a fair bit though as a hashtag on instagram in the world of fitness models ,gym fanatics and bodybuilders.

I feel the word 'physique' was used by devotees as a code word to denote 'the male form' but which omitted 'the male organ'.

OP, I'm with The Bob Mizer Foundation, and we relaunched Physique Pictorial in 2017. We highlight both Mizer's work and contemporary photographers. Check us out, follow us on social media, and subscribe!

I love the "physique era", that period where sex was implied but not shown with muscled models. Bob Mizer, Richard Fontaine, Bruce Bellas, etc. were masters!

Nice body and bulge, but he's supposed to be 22 in that photo? His face makes him look 45. Weird.

I was a freshman in high school and was on my way to the train to go home when I walked into a magazine store and saw my first copy of The Young Physique. That was the moment I knew I was gay, since I erected at the sight. But, alas, the money I needed to buy it was at home, so I got on the train, went home, got the money, got back on the train, bought the magazine, and returned home. That night I masturbated for the first time. I kept buying copies of that magazine and others showing young guys in posing pouches. The next year, the old guy behind the counter called me over to the end of the counter and asked if I might be interested in these magazines. He pulled out a batch of magazines in which the men were totally naked. Of course I bought a couple. I was 15 yrs old and he was selling naked mags to me. Life was good. A few months later, he had a set of photos showing men sucking and fucking each other; I eagerly bought them. That was my education as to what two men do together. I spilled a lot of seed back then.
