Star-Lord Confirmed to Be Bisexual in New 'Guardians of the Galaxy' Comic Book.
The latest installment of the Guardians of the Galaxy comic book series has confirmed some personal details about Peter Quill, also known as Star-Lord.
Chris Pratt plays the beloved superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and a third Guardians movie is currently being developed. A holiday special is also in the works for Disney+.
The latest issue of Guardians of the Galaxy revealed that Peter is bisexual and in a polyamorous relationship.
While it’s not yet known if Peter Quill will be bisexual in the film series, fans are wondering what Chris‘ thoughts on the development are.
Last year, Hillsong Church, which is the church attended by Chris, was accused to being “infamously anti-LGBTQ.”

I think he's more of a buysexual.

Why everyone on Twitter thinks Chris Pratt would drop this role? This obviously is a collaborated PR stunt to whitewash his homophobe reputation.

Twitter is just a mob baying for blood.
News of A Marvel Superhero being bisexual is simply pandering to Wokeness. All you will have is Chris Pratt's character flirting with another guy, perhaps giving him the once over , high-fiving him and saying "Nice butt, Bro!" Then ChrisPratt's character will fall in love with the female lead. End of story.
I'm still waiting for the film of a gay superhero falling in love and having a full blown affair with a man. And it may not happen in my lifetime.
More importantly, I'd rather see someone in Hollywood start producing films for adults with adult themes, not films aimed at the comic book crowd.

Chris Pratt couldn't play bisexual if he tried. Ridiculous. It's like asking Ryan Reynolds to play 100% straight.

I would die...Okay Chris, now hear me out. Star Lord fucks Drax, well technically Drax fucks you..but isn't that great? Chris?? Chris?? You still there??

Read the comic. There’s zero to indicate Quill is bi. He even says he needs to get back home because his woman is waiting for him.
This is a lot of clickbait PR nonsense.

Classic gay baiting. It's getting really, really boring at this point.
"The character will be gay!" says the filmmaker until the movie hits theaters in which the character fucks women. But by that time, the gays have already decided to see the film because we'll take any tiny scraps just to see our reality reflected in some tiny, tiny way on the big screen.

I’ll believe this isn’t placed PR when Chris Pratt is spitroasted and covered in bukkake cum in the next feature. And doesn’t bat an eye (except the one with jizz in it).

People also ask
What is the meaning of Pratt?
: a stupid or foolish person.

Do they show this character having sex in these movies? I thought these were comedies?
He was even sexy in Passengers.

Drax pounding Starlord in the movie when?

Drax? Starlord? Will you immature people listen to yourselves?

R7 exactly.
It's the same thing that happened to the Fox version of Iceman/Bobby Drake, when Bobby finally came out as gay in the comics after years of hints and speculation. The studios and the actor (Shawn Ashmore) were on board with making Bobby explicitly gay on-screen, until the franchise moved to Disney and the idea was quietly dropped never to be heard of again. Then the franchise worked some handwavey asspull magic to say that only one timeline (the Earth of the books) has a gay Iceman, and that the other Iceman depictions are all straight.
It doesn't even matter, though. The great thing about being gay is that we have in-built subtextual detectors that make it possible for us to read the secretly gay truth in anything. Iceman & Pyro were Love's Young Gay Dream, and the fact that they have not ever been reunited on screen in a homosexual way is some fucking bullshit - no-one will ever convince me otherwise.

And a thousand Thor/Star-Lord slash fics were born!
Or a thousand more, more likely.

I dunno, the thought of Pratt having sex is funny to me. I imagine him getting red and very sweaty and making a goofy O face in two minutes.

This is dumb. Marvel is dumb. Chris Pratt is dumb. None of them deserves support from the fags they love to despise -- or bait, depending on the tides of the economy.

Since there are no bi men, does this mean Starlord is just gay and in denial? Bi now, gay later.

Can people stop writing like this? It’s so distracting to read. It always stops me i my tracks when reading something and have to double back. Just uses Chris’s like the New York Times does.

People make mistakes, like you did with "uses," so maybe you could cut others some slack.
Besides, both s's and s' are correct, it depends on which grammar guide you use. You can find legitimate guides which say one or the other is correct, or both.

As a person whose names ends in S, I can assure you we have thought about the apostrophe question extensively and decided Chris' is the way to go.

It should be how it’s pronounced. Chris’ is weird because it’s pronounced Chris and then you have to mentally add the extra syllable whereas Chris’s already has the extra syllable added and provides a smoother reading experience.

Who isn't bisexual nowadays in Marvel comics? Especially on the young Avengers team. After Marvel made Prodigy and Speed a couple, both bi, now they've made Hercules and Marvel Boy a couple, both bi. It's a Bi takeover I tells ya! What's next? Colossus and Human Torch suddenly turn bi and couple up? Psylocke and She Hulk turn bi and couple up?

R22 Well who wouldn’t want a boyfriend named Colossus?

In the myths Hercules is bi anyway, with an interest in younger guys (Iolaus, Hylas) so they were only accepting that into Marvel continuity. Marvel Boy is an alien with relatively few appearances. Ultimate Colossus is/was gay.

Proper nouns always have 's after them to indicate possession regardless of how they are spelled.

He’ll be bi in the same way Gambit is—only technically, and 95% female-attracted.
There’ll be one guy he shows a flicker of interest toward, and perhaps a part of a backstory there’ll be a jokey chagrined mention of a gay crush or dalliance in his youth. If we’re lucky.

As long as they don't confirm him to be thin.
He looked good in the dinosaur movie, but imagine how much work that fattiy had to put in to make it work. Jesus won't shed the pounds for him.
