Celebrity Deadpool 2021 - Which celebrities do you predict will pass away in 2021?

It is that time of year again when attention turns to making predictions about what the new year will bring.

Some names that spring to mind for me include Bob Barker, Prince Philip, June Lockhart, Liza Minnelli and Barbara Walters.

by Anonymousreply 212/11/2020

King and Queen of England. She goes first, him soon after.

by Anonymousreply 312/11/2020

There's no way Bob Barker is 97, he's more like 84 or 85. He looks like shit.

by Anonymousreply 412/11/2020

No, R4, he is that old. I can't believe he outlived Alex Trebek.

by Anonymousreply 512/11/2020

Barbara Walters is basically senile and/or demented, from what I hear. She has no idea who she is or where she is.

It would be a sad end to an illustrious career, but I've always hated Barbara Walters, so no.

by Anonymousreply 612/11/2020

Britney Spears.

by Anonymousreply 712/11/2020

Nobody I know. Nope. No siree.

by Anonymousreply 812/11/2020

r3 Prince Philip is NOT the King of England the UK or anywhere else!

by Anonymousreply 912/12/2020

r7 I thought she was more stable and happier these days? I would think Lindsay Lohan is a better guess.

by Anonymousreply 1012/12/2020

My wish list:

Tim Allen

Kim Kardashian

Kanye West

Randy and/or Dennis Quaid

Jon Voight

Kid Rock

50 Cent

Scott Baio

Ted Nugent

Kirstie Alley

Roseanne Barr

Dean Cain

Diamond and Silk

Jack Nicklaus

by Anonymousreply 1112/12/2020

Timothee Chalamet

by Anonymousreply 1212/12/2020

Jennifer Lawrence

by Anonymousreply 1312/12/2020

R11 If only! Marion Ross

by Anonymousreply 1412/12/2020

R9 - Thank you. It is astonishing how ignorant non-Brits are of how the British monarchy works (and, for that matter, the other European monarchies, in which no consort of a Queen Regnant becomes "King").

That said, given her age, QEII should be on the list, but somehow, no one really expects her to.

She looks healthier than Charles.

Charles is 72. I'll put him on the list just for the hell of it. And won't that put the cat amongst the pigeons!

by Anonymousreply 1512/12/2020

The usual suspects: Kissinger, George Schultz, Walter Mondale, Jimmy Carter, Bob Dole. One old rocker, maybe someone like Steve Perry. A younger celebrity surprise or two from drug overdoses. That guy from “Friends” who looks like death, another Perry.

by Anonymousreply 1612/12/2020

Donald Trump.

by Anonymousreply 1712/12/2020

R3, I actually think Philip will die before Liz does - the shock of his death will be what finally kills Her Majesty.

by Anonymousreply 2012/12/2020

Philip has always been king in Elizabeth's heart.

by Anonymousreply 2112/12/2020

To the contrary, after the Duke of Edinburgh's death the queen will be liberated and remarry within a year or two. The n go on reigning for another 60 years.

by Anonymousreply 2212/12/2020

If the Queen dies first he'll move back to Greece and retire there in a nice bungalow on Crete.

by Anonymousreply 2312/12/2020

Gene Hackman

by Anonymousreply 2412/12/2020

Babs, Liza and Diana. DL will crash and never recover from the triple tragedy.

by Anonymousreply 2512/12/2020

Imelda Marcos

Francis Ford Coppola

Shelley Duvall

by Anonymousreply 2612/12/2020

by Anonymousreply 3012/12/2020

For surprises (but not really), Charlie Sheen and Johnny Depp.

For the predictable , Keith Richards, Betty White, Gale Gordon and Dianne Fienstein.

by Anonymousreply 3112/12/2020

I'll go with my usual; Dick Van Dyke

by Anonymousreply 3212/12/2020

Gale Gordon is ALIVE?????????

by Anonymousreply 3312/12/2020

Gene Hackman sure has been lying low for a long time, hasn’t he. What’s he up to?

It’s too soon for Cloris Leachman. I couldn’t take it.

It’s so weird how Baba Wawa went downhill seemingly so quickly. One day she was just, like, gone... There weren’t any signs on The Views that she was deteriorating.

by Anonymousreply 3412/12/2020

*The View, god damn it

by Anonymousreply 3512/12/2020

Interesting that Bob Barker's nose remain exactly the same, in op's pic . i thought they will get bigger as you grow older? But his ears sure did.

I'm putting President Donald J. Trump on this list because hope springs eternal.

[quote] I'm putting President Donald J. Trump on this list because hope springs eternal.

Death would be too kind. I want to see him do a Joseph Kennedy; suffer a debilitating stoke, be unable to speak, yet remain aware of what's going on around him.

He'll be forced to sit in front of the TV, unable to tweet while his children and everyone in his administration get investigated.

by Anonymousreply 6912/14/2020

Dick Van Dyke is a beast. If he wants to die he's going to have to pay someone to drop a boulder off a freeway overpass on him.

Queen Paola of Belgium ,King Harold of Norway , The Current aged King of Saudi Arabia, King Juan Carlos of Spain etc . That godawful Liddy Dole.

by Anonymousreply 12212/17/2020

Does Bob Dole still do boner pill commercials or is now doing money scams targeting the elderly? Liddy was revolting and she hates being called Liddy. which makes it more fun to do.

My guess is that several MLB players will go in 2021---more and more of the stars from the 50s and 60s seem to die every year. Probably some middling NFL guys, too, with all the neurological damage.

Cheney seems to defy the odds. I think one of the Doles is more likely. Joni Mitchell seems to defy the odds, as well. There are tons of rockstars born in the 40s who are likely to kack given all their drug use. Keith Richards and Mick Jagger seem to defy the odds, but more middling guys doing the third tier Indian casino and suburban "community days" circuits can't be doing well.

Kanye West - Murder

Britney Spears - Murder made to look like a suicide, likely culprit being her father

Jimmy Carter - Old age

Justin Bieber - Drug overdose

Owen Joyner - Car crash

Jonny McGovern - Suicide or drug overdose

Chaka Khan - Heart attack

Dionne Warwick - Fatal disease or covid

Erika Jayne and Tom Girardi - Suicide

[quote]Catherine Deneuve

I was worried about her after her stroke and then radio silence for months. But I've since learned she finished the movie she'd been filming at the time and has been out and about since.

That bitch Cissy Houston.

by Anonymousreply 18512/20/2020

Deneuve, still a beauty. Even as a mature "plus-size."

American actresses could learn a thing or two from Deneuve and some of her French colleagues about aging with grace.

by Anonymousreply 18612/20/2020

R184 I wouldn't be surprised if COVID takes Deneuve out soon. She is in the right age group, a heavy smoker and overwright. Also having recently had a stroke makes her more vulnerable.

by Anonymousreply 18712/20/2020

Will Covid take any British stars? It's getting pretty bad over there

r188 It has already taken a few but I imagine there will be more. Famous names I mean not just stars as in celebrities. So far in the UK covid has taken comedian and actor Bobby ball ,another actor and comedian Tim Brooke Taylor, a notorious aristocrat The Marquess of Bath, 1966 national Football world cup winning squad member Norman Hunter, comedian eddie Large, tv soap actor Johnny Leeze, murderer Peter Sutcliffe otherwise known as the Yorkshire ripper and film actress and producer Hilary Dwyer. Few would be well known in the USA but we have lost a few to it.

r100 Good question. Someone digging out the old thread and having a nosey at it could be interesting. I know a few mentioned Vera Lynn, Kirk Douglas, Olivia De Havilland and Rhonda Fleming all who did die. However so far Bob Dole, Bob Barker and Jimmy Carter have proved to be wrong predictions.

by Anonymousreply 20112/20/2020

I'd have said Tony Bennett and Dick Van Dyke, but they both seem to be in fairly good shapes for their age. So I'm saying Aaron Carter, who seems to be in bad shape for his age.

I think it’s the exact opposite: she would not have had a film career after 1968 if not for him. That movie she made about Gertrude Lawrence made back less than half of its budget. Yet somehow 20th Century Fox managed to finagle seven Oscar nominations for it. She wasn’t one of them. Tick, tick, tick, tick....”

I saw Carole (97 this month) and her husband Tom (92) on a web-isode last week.

They’re both sharp and funnier than hell (C: “Oh to be ninety again...”).

As long as there are gigs to play, they’ll be around.

by Anonymousreply 40201/13/2021

R402- I agree. It's something I am fearing as larger venues/locations start to ramp up security that these insane terrorists are going to start new methods-

by Anonymousreply 40301/13/2021

r403 I think things have got to a stage were this toxic intimidating atmosphere around politics has reached such heights that no quick or short term fix is possible .I think severe political tumult is going to be with the USA for at least a decade .I want to be wrong but I struggle to see how I am.

On a related point ,I think americans have not grasped that many people and governments around the world are watching your country very closely and are shocked and anxious and how things have become so bad so relatively quickly. This I guess would never be stated publicly but I think in reports and assesements etc by different countries intelligence services that they are giving to their governments especially in the west ,Canada, UK, France, Spain, Australia etc they will be marking the USA down as a country that is becoming an unstable democracy in the long term with all the implications that may flow from that.

I worry about political assassinations, too. IMO, I don't think that people like Biden is as vulnerable as softer targets. For example, I worry about Hillary, and all four Obamas. Maybe Hunter Biden or Kamala Harris's Jewish husband. I worry about Justin Trudeau and Angela Merkel and Pope Francis. If you accept the fact that there is a worldwide extremist conspiracy and it is from the Right, and it's inspired and orchestrated and financed by Putin and his minions, then you realize the objective is to demoralize and scare people.
